This hotel is located a little far from the bus stop, no public taxi at this small town, however the staff is helpful, he assist us to book a car for us to go to the train station The hotel is at the riverside with nice views. The people at this small town are friendly and welcoming

Good location and friendly staff. However, no fridge and kettle to make hot drinks.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. I like that you can choose a view of the Meuse (river) when you book. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff are very friendly. The bar had a good choice of drinks available, and there is a terrace bar where you can sit outside.

This IBIS offers exactly what you can expect from a typical budget outlet of the Accor brand - Nothing more and nothing less. In fact, to be very honest the space in the room was, even more, tighter than in a typical Ibis hotel. And it is a bit away on the other end of the main ***** of the old town. However, the price we paid and the riverfront location made it a great value-for-money stay! LOCATION: Lovely riverfront location, but a brisk 15-minute walk away from the main church and citadel. DINE + DRINK: The lobby level bar comes with a lovely terrace that opens up into the river offering sweet waterfront views. And this place is open round the clock! ROOM: We stayed in Room 208, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Super compact and tight room with barely enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Sweet views of the river from the Tiny Window! ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: very tight and tiny Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Basic toiletries but works. FACILITIES: No Gym or pool on site! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Tiny Plasma TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

This hotel cancelled our group booking 10 days before we were due to arrive in June 2024. They initially gave no reason for cancelling but then stated it was due to failure to pay however the 5 rooms had been reserved using a credit card so this was not the case. Their terms say if they have to cancel a booking they will do what they can to arrange the booking elsewhere. They did nothing. We were then forced to book a different hotel in an entirely different city at greater cost due to it being last minute instead of the 9 months notice this hotel had. Disgraceful way to treat customers.

We have just spent 5 nights in north & east France in 5 different hotels, all of ‘apparently’ similar quality and the comparison has been quite interesting. Of the 5, two were Ibis Hotels charging considerably more than the Campanile chain, but you do get a larger room for the money. However regarding facilities they’re probably not much different and the extra £35 a night wasn’t worth it. In this hotel we were assigned a comfortable room with a river view and it was nice watching boats passing by. It was an ideal location, close to the town and restaurants. There was a good bathroom with hair dryer but only very thin raggy towels. Also there was very difficult positioning of dispensers in shower (think about short people!!), making them very difficult to use. Disappointingly there was no kettle/ tea/coffee making facility. Overnight it was very quiet, despite the neighbouring ****** and trains opposite - good double glazing!! However the a/c was very ineffective, making it very hot overnight and it wasn’t particularly warm weather! The memory foam topper didn’t help either - far too hot & squidgy for our liking. Breakfast was good including a small selection of hot food but it was slightly disorganised in its layout - many people walking to/fro looking for things!
