Fab View

Spent two nights recently with my wife while visiting Dingle. It's a private residence converted to a multi-unit rental outside of DIngle. Jerry (the owner) was there to welcome us and show us the property. We didn't use them, but the pool and steam room looked wonderful. Our room (Tower View) was spacious, clean, and modern, with a great view of DIngle and the bay, and free on-site parking. The nightly rate was also reasonable, given the amenities. The only concerns were no breakfast (although Dingle had many choices) and the residence was about a 15 minute walk to the center of town. Overall, a great and highly recommended choice.

The apartment was beautiful with views from the top of the hill over the entire town of Dingle. Our room was spacious with the bathroom having two shower heads (one overhead), including snacks and 2 small bottles of wine. There was also access to a pool with its own steam room and loungers infront of a view. Outside, there was a fire pit and a few different seating areas. Again the view was a major selling point and if you are lucky enough to get nice weather it's brilliant for having a picnic outside. We would definitely reccomend staying at Fab View. Thanks again.

Disappointing experience .....This place is very pretty, especially on a sunny day, lovely views and nice modern decor but that's where the positives stop!!!over all the experience was a disappointment, we got no sleep cause the beds were so hard & uncomfortable , all my friends said the same,we were so tired could do nothing the next day & has to go home instead ,the pool was ice cold !! I mean freezing !! and felt like dirty grumpy water, the sauna wasn't working & was so dirty so we just went back up into our rooms, I was so embarrassed cause I had told my friends the place had a pool that we could all swim in together :( The owner was so unhelpful, he just didn't want to be bothered, the main door at night isn't locked so anyone can just walk in,there was rooms unfinished and under construction , in the pictures , you think you can go view the fish there in the tank but you can't , that's a private area ,there's no breakfast so it shouldn't be called a bnb,and Jerry the owner is just so stand offish & completely unhelpful, ,for those walking it's a long steep walk back up the hill to the so called BNB, dingle is such a beautiful town especially in the nice weather so will visit again but definitely wouldn't stay in fab view again!

This isn’t an average place - but “very good” doesn’t quite cover it either. It’s not a hotel: there’s no reception or human contact except by coincidence; there’s no daily house-keeping or towel changing (matters when nothing dries in un-ventilated bathroom.) It’s not a B&B - no breakfast. Maybe it’s a guest house? I’m never sure what that covers…. Anyhow, the view was indeed fab from our room and the pool. The pool also pretty fab and large. But the sauna,most of the jacuzzi and the clock don’t work. Room is nice and spacious (with the view obvs!) I didn’t like the bed-linen as very synthetic and sweaty - but I am unduly sensitive to that and others might not mind. Internet patchy, especially after a night-time storm. I LOVE having an in-room coffee machine. And husband adored having a little bottle of wine in the room too. So a bit curate’s eggy…

Wonderful stay at the Fab View. Great view of Dingle from outside the hotel. It’s a short, easy walk to town despite being up on a hill. Jerry was very kind when we met him, and we felt safe during our stay. Room was lovely and clean. This isn’t a negative, but I would caution anyone who likes daylight to not stay in one of the lower level rooms. I’m rather claustrophobic and wished we had been on the upper level. We would stay again for sure!

We had two nights at Fab View and would very happily stay there again. While our room didn’t have a “fab view”, it was beautifully presented, comfortable and spacious, although the shower pressure could have been a bit higher. The indoor swimming pool was the highlight; we used it both days and the temperature was perfect. We also made use of the steam room. The hotel is a 10-minute walk into town and slightly further back as it’s up a steep hill. Communication was good before our stay and we met the owner Jerry once, who was very polite.
