Yadis Djerba Thalasso & Spa - All Inclusive

We travelled as 2 mature single women, for a 10 day all inclusive, on arrival border control was quick and easy , baggage collected quickly and off to the transfer coach. The hotel has a grand entrance and reception were very welcoming with a sweet Tunisian tea, porter took us to our standard room.Room was very basic,clean,small balcony,walk in shower, separate toilet, However the air con started to leak after a few days, the room was definitely looking tired but it was cleaned everyday with fresh towels . The walk to the room was quite a trek so if your disabled or struggle with walking then definitely ask for a low floor, There is a safe but I think you have to pay,we just locked everything in our cases, we had two single beds which were uncomfortable but expected,balcony small but had a table and 2 chairs and overlooked a garden and golf course next door and the views at sunset were amazing. Food... After hearing reviews of other Djerba hotels we definitely picked the right place, there is food in abundance, everything from fresh fruit salads, freshly cooked pasta,pizzas made in front of you, roasts,rice ,soup,breads, croissants,cakes,ice cream, full bottles of pop ,coke,sprite, wine,not by the glass by the bottle,water available in small and big bottles, could not fault the kitchen whatsoever,staff extremely friendly,hard working and courteous.The only advice about the dining hall is ,you don't need to rush to go in 1st ,always fresh and hot food available and going in to eat a bit later when quieter makes for a more relaxing experience,also we only realised there is a smaller dining room with half the options but much quieter situated opposite the pool bar. The pool: fantastic, deep in areas but well signed, pool foam party not to be missed, slippy in areas but that's standard,now the sunbeds, in my opinion there are not enough for capacity, I can imagine in July or August that it's a struggle, loads of beds down the beach but I think more are definitely needed around the pool , temperatures exceed 30 degrees so umbrellas are a must. The beach,well,to be honest wasn't what I was hoping for, construction work going on, and a big JCB digger on the beach shifting sand, there is a lot of seaweed on the beach and water is murky and dark because of this, which put us off going in, clearer blue seas are further around the coastline,we stuck to the pool in the end. Entertainment: So, there is literally something for all ages, the animation team work so hard, however I need to stress this, this hotel does cater more for Italians and french,and polish,and only a few English, however this is sometimes a good thing as interaction with other nationalities is fun The animation team work very very hard, you can do as little or as much as you want, from archery, dance classes,water polo etc the usual, evening entertainment varies with some days the animation team others ,belly dancers etc. I want to mention Jassem Smai, only a young animation trainee

Hotel yadis djerba is the Best we like restaurent eat, we like the soon in djerba its super every people in the hotel its so cute the rooms its nice,we like also animation team so nice show in the night,the Best animator is yassine And nassim they are the Best

It was a really good experience the staff are fantastic very friendly and welcoming specially pedro and motaz and moushira Very friendly and welcoming I recommend it to anyone coming soon and the food is great they got a lot actives………………..

This hotel is a scam! There is no bar on the beach as in the offer, it is being builded. Photos from the offer are not real at all!!!! Rubbish, dirt and renovation. Ala carte restaurant included in all inclusive stay is a scam. A waiter isn't informing about the payment for the wine (btw the food was worse than in normal restaurant- dry and without spices). The waiter says about the payment afterwards! They are rude, dishonest and disloyal. Hotel is very dirty and old with plastic bottles and rubbish all around. Bathrooms dirty, old. Beach is also dirty. Restaurant and corridors without air condition. It' s definitely not 5 stars hotel....

The animation team international is very spectacular and made my trip 10x better, all the activities and dances were very fun and enjoyable. The fitness classes were very professional and the instructor was a very nice girl, the night party was amazing and very including of everyone, the best trip I’ve had. I recommend anyone who would like to enjoy their trip to come here and come check out their animation team.

I hate leaving bad reviews i normally just dont go to a place again after a bad experience but i feel i need to with this one. The hotel itself is beautiful rooms are nice & clean dated yes but nothing wrong with them the hotel in general is clean and spacious pool is really nice and clean and big enough for space to yourself. They definitely need more sunbeds people get up really early to reserve them so if you dont you wont get one i saw people sitting on chairs because none were available beach is very dirty hotel dont clean it looks like they were doing work so hopefully that will improve in time. The food in the restaurant is ok very repetitive but as expected with all inclusive no air con though so very hot in there! The spa stay clear!!! They are not professional & in my opinion the worst experience i have ever had in a spa & ive been to a lot of different countries & experienced a lot of different cultures but have never been offered a “happy ending” in a “professional” spa thank god my young step daughter decided not to come with me when speaking with a manger he told me it was normal in their culture do not insult my intelligence touching peoples private parts without asking when your having a leg massage is not ok! If you are English stay clear they are not interested in you and because the hotel is mainly Italian french german & polish the guests are rude to you aswell! If you are not a young girl wearing next to nothing the staff arent interested in speaking with you! The restaurant staff groped my step daughter which resulted in a confrontation which the staff just laughed! No respect. I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Jassem animation team you are an asset to that hotel wonderful boy and deserve so much more! Also massive thank you to Jassem the bar staff pleasant man always happy to help and actually took the time to speak to us unlike the rest of the staff! All in all we had an ok time the weather was beautiful but definitely better places in the world to go than here like i said if you are English dont bother they dont want you there unless you are a young girl to perv on!
