Calimera Yati Beach

We stayed here last year but were unable to find space this year and booked another hotel close by. Our hotel is nice but for Christmas and new year the celebrations are not quite on par with Calimera which are just absolutely out of this world. We spoke to Camlimera and they let us join for new year - what an absolute experience it is, the pastry chefs are first class and the whole vibe of the party was so welcoming. Most of the staff remembered us from last year and welcomed us so warmly. Stepping into Calimera again after a year and we were reminded that is absolutely the cleanest and most welcoming hotel on all of Djerba. Keep it up and see you next year.

We went there in a group of six and it was my first (and last) time to Tunisia. Sea shore was covered with 2m thick block of rotting sea grass of some kind. Dinners were thematic, but the variance of breakfasts was zero and in case of lunch, only the grill part was changing. All (5) available cocktails were alcohol + juice (which was not fresh juice, but that stuff from concentrate) + some sweet colored syrup. There was just one 24/7 bar which was constantly overcrowded and the service was rather poor. Some bartenders were fairly arrogant. Once I ordered two drinks, got served one and then the bartender went serving someone else, then started unpacking some boxes, doing other stuff, then eventually returned to me and finished the other drink. Took over 10 minutes. Not a single word explaining the delay, just a condescending face. Considering we paid "all inclusive", relatively many things were paid (fresh juice, alcohol outside 6 offered liquors, 2 wines and 1 beer). Each of our group had some sickness issues, one requiring doctor assistance. That's actually one good thing there - doctor arrived 30 minutes after asking the delegate. The other good thing were olives. Everything else was mediocre or bad.

The hotel is nice and well cleanned. The pool and beach areas are pretty good with activities all day for the kids and families. The staff pay much more attention to the costumers who are constantly tipping; to the others they don’t pay much attention and somentimes they’re rude. The alcoolic drinks are low quality but the beer is very good and light! It’s missing a beach bar with music for the sunsets (like other hotels have) and more regular cleans of the beach sand (camels and horses walk there all day long).

The best place on earth to rest, relax and have some summer fun. You are welcomed from the very entrance by helpful staff. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen serves all variety of dishes. The pool are is well prepared and equiped. Everyday you can find aultitude of difference activities provided by the wonderful entertainment team. Adults and children can always find something interesting to do. You can leave your little ones under the care of kids club and enjoy aerobics, stretching, Zumba, beach volleyball or beach football every day. It's the perfect place with perfect people working there to make your vacation experience in Djerba unforgettable. Only in Calimera Tati Beach.

I liked this hotel because the room was always very clean, the food was always tasty and I can especially highlight the sports activities with the animator Jassim, who always made the time pleasant, this year I am visiting the hotel again. I recommend!

The hotel was so nice and the staff were so kind. It was super clean and we loved the maid’s daily creations. The food was great! The horse stables across the road was an added bonus. We were a family of 4 and had a room with two bedrooms. We will come back!
