Checked in having used the hotel previously. I didn’t expect much and I wasn’t disappointed. Check in went smoothly with no issues. One of my biggest gripes was the parking. There is a council owned car park which is directly next to the hotel but there are no concessions with parking there? I found this strange as it would service most guests staying at the hotel. During the day you have to remember to top up your parking every four hours which is a pain if you’re paying cash, best to download the RingGo app. It’s £1 from 6pm to 8am the following day. You have to be on the ball with topping up your parking, unlike myself who forgot and was fined £25 at 8.40am. Room was to be expected with a Premier Inn, usual fare, I did have hairs in my sink from the previous guest but I just washed them away, I wasn’t expecting luxury. My room faced on to a busy dual carriageway which was really noisy in the mornings, don’t expect to sleep past 7am. I had kids running up and down the corridors knocking on doors, not the fault of the hotel but the parents. Also other inconsiderate guests who thought it was ok to have a takeaway feast, leaving food bags and half open pizza boxes in the corridor for everyone to stand over. Like I said, it’s a Premier Inn in the centre of Doncaster, don’t expect the Ritz.
