Mercure Doncaster Centre Danum Hotel recensioner

A great hotel booked at the last minute. Two double beds in seperate rooms was ideal for us and our kids. Everything you could need was provided in the room. Location was perfect for Doncaster town center.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Hotel was in need a refurb as carpets and rooms were quite worn and rooms need a refresh. Was ok for a short business trip and was situated in a good location.

Nice hotel , great location however the communication between staff was poor and I was informed I could have late check out however when arriving I was informed I could not have late check out. Noisy if your on the street side as bars open till late however the hotel supply you with ear plugs which doesn’t make a different. Cleaners were cleaning other rooms above me early in the monring which disrupted me even more. Nice hotel but many problems

火車站出來走路不到十分鐘，前台服務小妹和大姨都蠻好的。早飯就這樣，傳統英式早餐。 房間不大不小剛剛好，隔音還不錯。酒店位置在鬧市當中，住的當天剛好是有拳擊賽，樓下很多酒吧都鬧到晚上兩三點，也吵不進房間。

Stayed over for UK Pride which was in Doncaster this year and have spotted this large hotel many times on other business stays as a volunteer for a national charity whilst visiting the city of Doncaster . Parts of the hotel are well used and run down but enjoyed room 213 bar the television where you could not turn off the blind persons audio description on the smart television set . Staff especially the reception staff looked after me well as they work excessively long hours bar one thing pronouns which need work on and education as they kept using male pronouns which is inappropriate to a non binary trans person like myself . Also being an Accor Silver rewards member they could not register my rewards or get their computer system to acknowledge my account . On the Friday I arrived the food I ordered was excellent consisting of nachos, Thai vegetarian curry and a Black Forest pudding which was welcome after a long journey from Northumbria. I slept well after supper from Friday night to 11 am Saturday morning and I joined the pride parade As I attended UK pride in Doncaster they stored my suitcase and kept it safely until I got my train to Beverley in the evening. A few tweaks and this good hotel could be excellent. As a regular traveller doing volunteer work I use Accor brand hotels regularly but as mentioned earlier in this review some of the reception staff at this Doncaster Mercure hotel could do with a wee bit extra training on how to address and treat non binary and transgender people. So I’d rate my experience 6 out of 10 for my stay and could do with some improvement

Amazing hotel came here for a 2 night stay for anniversary Lesley the house keeper was amazing couldn’t do enough for me and my partner. Front of house staff were also very accommodating. We are definitely coming back. We had rose petals on the bed. Room as also very clean and tidy. Couldn’t ask for a better stay

Very friendly staff at check-in, most helpful. Room spacious, clean and cosy. Bed was very soft and comfortable with very plump pillows. Bar area is very smart and peaceful for a drink or two after work. Lovely breakfast with plenty of options.

Booked a suite for my partners birthday and it was immaculate set up a little surprise beforehand in the room and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating couldn’t recommend a better place to stay in Doncaster, massive thankyou to Tegan, Hayley, Clare, Ebony and Elaine will definitely be returning soon

Average mercury, been to wore, been to better. Staff very friendly, room was spacious, very noisy throughout the night with Lorrie’s/bins etc Breakfast was basic, coffee was good, no fried eggs, orange juice had ran out, and packet croissant, Car parking was a fair walk , would stay out of town next time.

Overnight stay; older building but rooms recently modernised and refurbished - nice and clean, inc bathroom. Decent choice for breakfast and hotel right in centre of the city with shops, bars, etc right on your doorstep. Staff helpful and friendly
