Dongguan MCB Lake Hotel recensioner

Hotel rooms are sizable, with great breakfast variety. But location is quite inaccessible, need to take a cab to go anywhere

Amazing hotel, huge outdoor swimming pool, large and comfortable bedrooms with nice balcony. Breakfast is varied, with nice noodles and egg stations. Great tennis courts at the MK club with a friendly staff, and after a good hitting session you can have a great relaxing recovery downstairs at the spa center including jacuzzi, cold bath, spa jets and sauna. And everything for a great value price, highly recommended!!!

Hotel lack of Staff. Dont have even a bell boy. front desk only 1 personnel.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Dongguan MCB Lake Hotel initially with colleagues and later returned with my family for another fantastic experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff members were friendly and accommodating, and the highlight was the spacious and enjoyable swimming pool. We especially loved the indoor jacuzzi pool, adding to our relaxation and enjoyment. My family had a wonderful time and felt completely relaxed during our stay. We are looking forward to returning to the Dongguan MCB Lake Hotel in the future.

Great location and wonderful outdoor pool but they require swimming cap. Avoid going to this one if you mind wearing swimming cap in the pool for a holiday vacation. 

There are many mosquito inside room and outside. And outside swimming pool doesn’t open.

This is a very nice hotel for families as it is very child friendly. We went in winter so couldn’t use the outdoor pool but it looked nice. The indoor pool, although in another building, was clean and big, with a pool for the baby. The peacocks outside were amazing! My baby loved them. The only downside was that at breakfast, the highchair was very dirty. I had to clean it myself.

It’s located close to the mountain, and there a lot of peacocks. The rooms are spacious and modern.

We stayed here for a night and honestly we won't be back. The place is gorgeous, the swimming pool is awesome, there are some very cute peacocks around the hotel, posing for photos, but the staff was terrible. The staff at the reception was very disrespectful. We had called in advanced to ask if we could bring our bikes inside (we went to dongguan to attend a triathlon race) and they told us yes. Once we got there, the reception staff told us to take the bikes out, the couldn't come in the property. We had to fight a bit in order to bring our bikes inside. Also, our room was supplied with only hand cream, no shampoo nor body wash. Maybe it was an honest mistake but when we called the reception for help they just hung up on us. Several times. The location is bad. In the middle of nowhere, which can be good, but not if you don't have a car. Also there is a water park just outside the hotel so there's tons of traffic every single afternoon. Very noisy.

This is the fourth time I’ve stayed at this hotel. Great location in Dongguan with one of the best pools in the city. The breakfast and hotel restaurant are decent quality as well.

No one even cleaned the room. We stayed two nights. You don’t do daily cleaning? You don’t even make the bed? The room is extremely outdated. The toilet seat is from 20 years ago and filled with yellow epoxy resin and looks disgusting. The only good thing is they have a massive pool.

The pool is exceptional but the hotel is dated and doesn’t smell very good. Needs revamped.
