Ocean Boutique Hotel

We just finished a 4 night stay at Ocean Boutique and we were very happy with our choice. It is a small, beautiful hotel in front of a lovely stretch of beach. The rooms were large and clean with a balcony view of the sea. Our room included breakfast and a wonderful dinner each night. The food was excellent and different every night, with a fairly extensive set of choices for such a small place. (And good cocktails too). We were welcomed by the lovely manager, Yacinta, who was very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The waitstaff was also excellent… Peter and Aisha and others met our needs well, and with a smile. Me and my 4 friends felt very taken care of throughout our stay. We did a couple of excursions to the more busy parts of the islands (Nungwe, stone town), and were happy to come back to this beautiful, quiet oasis. The sea was lovely and the pool was very clean and nice too. We recommend this as a nice choice!

What can I say?!? An immaculate adults only hotel right on the beach. Rooms all have a sea view and are more than big enough. Views from the room and restaurant are breathtaking, especially at sun rise. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful and attentive. It was end of season when I visited, but the weather was great and being very quiet made it all the more relaxing. Special mention to Chef Ally, Kelvin, Peter, Aisha, Anna, Debora and Evelyn. There are others I have missed no doubt. You guys do a great job. I hope to return. Hotel is a $25 round trip by taxi to Paje and Michamwi and this takes about 15 mins each way if you like things a little livelier. The food provided by Ally was varied and tasty.

This was the first of 4 hotels we booked on our 2 week trip to Zanzibar. My wife, daughter and I came as a birthday treat for myself! Everything at/in this hotel was just fantastic, all the staff, the room, the layout and cosiness was just beautiful. Situated right on the beach with friendly Masai security guards to stop anyone wandering in. Not that there was many people in this area. From our beach facing room on the ground floor it was just a few metres to the pool and white sands past the restaurant. The food was delicious, with different choices every night. "Kelvin" and the rest of our friendly waiters/barman were always smiling, ready to chat for advice on Zanzibar. Not that we had to, but everyone dressed nicely for dinner which gave the ambience of a high class restaurant. Would go back anytime. Paul Taylor, Southampton, England.

First off, sign up for their Ocean Club membership. You will get some pretty cool deals. We stayed at OBH for 8 nights and simply loved every minute of it. From the time we entered the gates till we departed, we felt like we were home. The view from every location of the hotel is amazing. The Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Amazing food. Very helpful and attentive staff. Will definitely return as now I consider OBH to be my second home. Asante Sanna.

This magical boutique hotel made me fall in love with Zanzibar all over again. The view from my room was spectacular, the staff is super friendly & helpful and the tranquil atmosphere is wonderful for optimal relaxation. The Ocean Boutique Hotel will be perfect for a romantic honeymoon destination or a relaxed breakaway spot for memorable holiday. The beach in front of the hotel has crystal clear blue water and the most beautiful white sand strips for long walks next to the ocean. I can 100% recommend this hotel will all of my heart! 10/10 :)
