The Palms Zanzibar

One of the most wonderful places to stay. This was our second visit to The Palms and we were not disappointed. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel special and nothing was too much trouble. Just 7 exclusive villas, pool and personal beach side bandas. The staff and management are the best! If you want a place that will really make you feel like royalty then this is it! The food is amazing - lots of delicious, fresh seafood, great choices and an well chosen wine list. This is the place to come if you really want to relax and be pampered. You also have access to the neighbouring hotels facilities (Breezes and Baraza). We used the spa and gym at Baraza. The beach here is beautiful white sand as far as the eye can see. There is also access to a dive centre, watersports with kayaks, Hobie's and snorkelling etc. The Ops Manager Siriak and his team (Jackson, Maulid, Kibi, Mlacha, Ngasa, Chef William to mention just a few!) were totally wonderful. We really hope to visist again soon!

We have just returned from the most Unique Hotel , we have ever stayed in ! From the moment you arrive the welcome is overwhelming ! Fatima on reception so warm and inviting with kind nice smile ! The general manager Siriak making sure every day your stay is going well , and making sure anything you need is covered , to making spa reservations, and to organising trips to Stone town (which is a must ) The villas are completely on another level ! I was lost for words when we saw the villa :-) Every one of the bar staff Ngasa and his amazing smile ! , Maulid, Jackson! Who make sure your glasses aren’t empty Also to all the chefs who make everyday the most delicious food , 5 course every evening house keeping and the hard work they put in , the gardeners to the security guards, especially Everest who make sure all safe on the beach , we went to the spa and Had the sultans bath wow wow the ladies are extremely good at their job Nuch and Nara at the Baraza Ten out of ten !!! This small intimate most beautiful Peaceful purest of hotels Will stay in my heart forever We will definitely Be back Hakuna Matata xxx Zanzibar see you very soon

Wow what an absolute pleasure. The space and tidiness of the beautiful villas. The private plunge pool. The stocked up minibar, cocktails and delicious food. Everything was perfect. The attention and friendliness of the staff was incredible. Well done to all that made my experience unforgettable. THANK YOU

Probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in.... the staff were excellent and the chef produced amazing gluten free food for my wife. The hotel is based on relaxation and great service. In addition you can also use the facilities at the adjacent hotels. We used the Frangipani spa at the Baraza which was excellent. Each room has it's own cabana and sunbeds with lovely views across the Indian Ocean. If you want to relax and be pampered this hotel is definitely worth a visit! Quiet surroundings with superb gardens.

The Palms. I don't know where to begin. Absolutely fantastic stay over Christmas. We enjoyed every minute of it This hotel is very quiet, private and secure! The gardens are lush and very well kept and the villas are huge! The manager Siriak and the entire staff are true professionals. Excellent service from everyone during the whole 7 night stay! Can' ask for more, thank you! Lastly food and drinks. From breakfast until dinner. We ate only at the hotel snd every meal was very good and the service top notch! Can highly recommend the Palms in Zanzibar!

We arrived to The Palms in the evening after an adventurous but exhausting safari and from the minute we arrived we had the most fantastic experience. We were greeted by the lovely manager with staff and were shown to our villas - there are only seven altogether - ours had bedroom, living area, two bathrooms with walk-in closets and an extra room which we used for all our luggage. It also had a private patio under roof with daybeds and a small pool. Every villa has a private cabana overlooking the beach. The staff served us sundowner cocktails with an amuse bouche at our villas and presented five course menus with different delicious choices. We were blown away by the beauty and luxury, the excellent service and the fabulous food. Dinner was served on the terrace in the main building, and lunch by the pool bar, both overlooking the turquoise Indian Ocean and the extremely well-kept grounds and pool area (the gardening was taken care of without any noise whatsoever which was another pleasant detail). This is a beautiful property, with friendly, professional staff who made us feel very welcome. We also enjoyed listening to different musicians pretty much every night, some were very good. We had access to the neighbor properties where you could find gym, spa, other restaurants (which we did not visit) and there was a shop at the Breezes, but we spent most of our time at The Palms since the staff took so good care of us there, including making delicious cocktails served by the pool. I could not have been happier and can strongly recommend this resort. Thank you all!
