Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dover

Grated nicely and quick check in. Parking was a little challenging. The rooms were decent. With the exception of some hair on our bedspread the room was as clean. They have refrigerators and microwave and coffeemaker in the room and if you’re hungry they seek microwave dinners by the front desk. The shower had good pressure. There were Dove products in the soap dispensers. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise. A very cool pancake machine. 3 chaffing dishes of hot foot, eggs, bacon, sausage gravy. A nice seating area. Too bad most people didn’t bus their tables even thought the were garbage pails. Located very close to Dover State college and Ballys ******. Lots of shopping and food option very close by

Juli and her staff were wonderful as always. We have been staying at this location for the past four years for a charity bike ride, and we will continue to do so. The hotel is clean, the staff is super friendly and always very helpful. The breakfast was very good as well. The back deck patio area is a great place to relax and catch up with friends.

Great experience and incredible hospitality. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and quiet. I would highly recommend this property ti anyone planning to stay in the area. Thanks for a great stay.

When we arrived, we noticed that the bathroom was not clean. We found stubble in the sink, hair on the ground, the hand soap was empty, the door deadbolt didn't work, the linens and pillows had stains on them, and the room smelled like it was cleaned with a dirty, musty mop. The plus of our stay and the only reason I'm giving 3 stars was the kind gentleman (8/8/24 in the evening) at the front desk who gave us the bedding to make up the sofa bed and gave us soap, as there was none in our room.

This hotel was amazing! I am a very fussy traveler and no complaints do I have! From the staff that checked us in to check out! The room was very clean and Dove products in the bathroom. The breakfast was very good and the presentation was awesome as well! I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This hotel is awesome, can't say enough about it, entire staff is very friendly, while hotel very clean, breakfast was one of the best I've had lots of variety both hot & cold selections, rooms were very nice & updated

I really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The room was spacious and modern, the bathroom was clean and large, the breakfast was better than average and included nuts, fresh berries, great omelletes, and the coffee was good. I highly recommend this place

Overall this is a decent hotel. I stayed 1 night for business and for the price I paid I was mostly satisfied. The front desk staff was very nice as was the lady running the breakfast area in the morning. I was checked in with no issues at all and in about 3 minutes I was headed up to my room. The room had ample space for just myself. The bed was comfortable and the pillows better than other hotels. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the bathroom. At first glance it was ok when I first entered. Then I started to notice loose hairs everywhere. They were on the wall and floor inside of the shower. A few more on the shower base outside of the glass door. More on the toilet tank and bowl and at least one on the vanity top. The caddy in the shower that holds the body soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers had an arm designed to hold the bottles in place. This arm was loose and not locked into place so the bottles would fall and hit the floor. The cleaning staff gets 1 star for me. Breakfast was OK. Nothing spectacular but I was fed before starting my day. Good hotel, I'd stay again, just crap cleaning staff.

Upon arrival my husband found a used soap in my room and the toilet had dirt lines in it. Front desk basically told me he can’t do anything for me because he was in the hotel alone and no other employees to clean the room. I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to clean the room. The following day I asked the housekeeper to clean the room. When I returned to the room 4 hours later it WAS NOT CLEAN. Breakfast was not good. Kept getting bit by flees. We literally got up at 5 am because I could stay there any longer. We had to use the pool in the hotel next door because the “pool was not right” per an employee. This Hotel was not even close to a Holiday Inn standards.
