I stayed from April 19th to 20th with my family (2 adults and 2 kids), and unfortunately, the experience was far from what you'd expect from a so-called 5-star hotel.
First major disappointment – no valet parking. For a hotel of this rating, that's a basic expectation.
Check-in experience was equally poor. The front desk staff lacked warmth, professionalism, and any genuine effort to make guests feel welcome. Their attitude was indifferent, and they seemed clueless about guest service.
We had requested a non-smoking, was thinking of a quiet room, but while the staff claimed to have "upgraded" us, the room we got was clearly dated. It was clean, but the bathroom basin was clogged constantly, and the noise from outside was unbearable. Even passing cars could be heard clearly, making it hard to get proper rest.
The only positive part of our stay was the breakfast – the food was good and the breakfast staff were polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful.
Checkout was another letdown. There were barely any staff available, and the process felt rushed and unprofessional.
Honestly, I’m surprised this hotel holds a 5-star rating. Based on our experience, it felt more like a 3-star at best. I genuinely don’t understand the high ratings it seems to receive.
My overall rating: 2 out of 5. Would not recommend for families looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
