Orchid Hotel Al Barsha (formerly the Golden Tulip Al Barsha hotel) is a delightful place to stay. My son and I spent 7 days and are completely satisfied. The location is not more than 250m from the metro station Insurance Market (Red Line), so the hotel is perfectly connected to all other parts of the city. There is one big supermarket and a few smaller ones in the vicinity. There are several restaurants (Indian, Filipino, Iranian, Arabic, American, and others) and cafes - a small cluster of restaurants has just opened. Pharmacies and some shops are also nearby. The hotel is spotless and the room is spacious. Photos are realistic. The excellent breakfast buffet includes various foods and drinks, such as coffee, tea, milk, fruits, vegan meals, toast, sausages, eggs, etc. The swimming pool is small but clean, with sunbeds and a shower. The hotel provides towels in the room and also for the swimming pool. Bottled water, coffee/tea /sugar bags are provided daily. All in all, great stay! If/when I come to Dubai, I will surely stay in this hotel.

Hotel staff are very friendly. They even allow us late checkout for 2 rooms. We booked 4 rooms. Unfortunately one of the toilets was flooded on our first night. Water was dripping from the toilet ceiling but they repaired immediately. Another room the tap was loose we could not control the water temperature but they gave us a new room. The 3rd room the carpet in front of the toilet is wet all the time so they gave us extra floor mat. Breakfast spread is good for the price we paid for. Toilet amenities was not top up daily we had to call house keeping all the time. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel. I would recommend to visit the restaurant call Food View. 5 minutes walk from hotel. The food there is really good and cheap.

Hotel location is OK and ita looking like an old property. The car park area is not up to the mark and its tiny basement parking with limited slots.

Hotel parking entry is almost 100 meter away but below that Hotel. Searching was a task All equipment are old i.e. bath tub was rusted but even old other equipment were maintained Staff was good

Had a very good time,workers very kind and welcoming.Services rendered when asked.They need to see into the neatness of their bathtubs.It wasn't too ok for a 4 star hotel.
