This is detailed review (one of my first ever)....in summary super comfortable community vibezzz Let's start with arrival, if you fancy taking the Metro to the apartment from the airport, jump on the main Red Line towards Expo 2020, get off at Jumeriah Golf Estate Metro Station, directly outside wait for the F38 bus, 4 stops (10 mins approx) and it will drop you right outside (wish i knew that to begin with figured it out soon enough). The same touch card used on the Metro will work on the bus, and it's cheap as chips, approx 7aed for the metro and around 5aed for the bus (Bus Stop Dubai Production City 1) Depending on what time you arrive at the brightly coloured building, you will be expected by and greeted by securuity, i was promptly and showed to my room, the room felt brand new it was clean crisp, good views out the window facing the community balcony. At first, it feels a little bit quiet in the area as its still being developed subtly (no noise or heavy machinery to disturb) - however you can either get a cab into town around 15 mins, i usually get a cab to the nearest metro - either a) Dubai Internet City or b) Jumeriah Golf Estates. There's a carrefour not too far away, with Mc Donalds etc, a new Pizza hut in the other direction (fantastic pizza's) etc.... However i can for a real break not as a tourist, so i embrased the quite nature of the location and adapted. 4 fresh towels, 2 medium, 2 large (i extended my stay as i enjoyed it so much and it has two extra small hand/face towels, nice). Ironing Board, Iron, kettle, microwave all very well maintained and clean!!! The only thing i didn't find was a toaster, but it must be a local thing, so i used the pry pan on low heat to get my morning toast, done the trick just fine. Good Wi-FI network, co-working room, with ample desk space and a good place for those who want to just get their head down and work. There are various room options available, since I'm travelling on my own this occasion i opted for the "Meet Up" rooms, which features a shared modern shower & wc and shared fully kitted out kitchen. Other oprtions include provate shower & WC room, and balcony and living room area's - options to cater for all. I stayed with 2 other guests (each with our own private room space), very quiet didnt even notice they where there so felt like i had the whole apartment to my self. Rooms are very plesant and modern decor, light fresh colours, Big Smart TV, reading lamps, good wardrobe storage area and working desk. There are regular events that take place, displayed in the lifts, a great way to meet other residents. Oh yes, the apartment management and resident volunteers did a fantastic job to accommodate the football Qatar World Cup Games, Big screen projector, bean bags, comfortable out door viewing, I really looked forward to the matches and fellow supporters from all over the world.
