The Byron is a unique and magical place. You will arrive to a warm reception from the ownership team in their adorable coffee shop that also contains interesting merchandise. Then, the ownership team will walk you through the old city pointing out places of interest and great restaurants while delivering you to the hotel, This is no ordinary hotel. Rather, it is a beautiful building within the old city that feels like your own pied a terre in Dubrovnik. Our room was equipped with everything you could need, including a small kitchenette. The ownership team continued to provide great advice and warm hospitality throughout our 5 night stay. The Byron is a truly special experience and I look forward to returning!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this hotel was something special. It’s quaint, charming, and full of character — the kind of place that makes you feel instantly at home. The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches throughout. What really made our stay unforgettable was Sonia, the owner. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel like more than just guests. She also gave us fantastic recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and how to explore Dubrovnik like a local — her advice made all the difference in our experience. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming place with a personal touch, this is the perfect spot. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next visit. Fabulous to stay in a beautiful historic building in a quiet location in Dubrovnik Old Town. Easy to walk to all the main attractions. Check in was easier than expected. Many wonderful restaurants nearby. WiFi adequate. After check out we could leave our luggage at the KAWA shop until it was time to leave the airport.

The Byron is the perfect spot to hang your hat while in Dubrovnik. Tucked away on a quiet street, The Byron feels more like a home away from home than a hotel. Lovely, well appointed rooms; cozy beds, spacious interiors and welcome chocolates! Walking distance to everything including shops, sites and restaurants. The best part is the hotel is just a few steps from a wonderful seaside bar where you can jump off the rocks and take a dip. This was such a welcome respite after a long day of sightseeing. You'll check in at Kawa Life, a shop with incredible finds from local artists and creators. Great place to find unique gifts for yourself and folks back home. Owners were absolutely lovely, friendly, attentive and available whenever you needed anything at all. Hoping to get back to Dubrovnik and will not hesitate to stay at The Byron again

On arrival we were greeted like old friends. The check in process is super easy and a lovely cold drink was offered before being led to the hotel. The hotel itself was in a perfect location and absolutely beautiful. So quiet and relaxing even though it’s right in the centre. 1 minute walk to the swimming hole and straight into the Adriatic. 2 mins walk from the walls and all of the historic buildings. Facilities were excellent although would have been nice to have fresh milk and maybe biscuits but other than that everything has been thought of. On departure it was so easy. Has a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

Great place to stay right in the old city! You can swim right there. Very clean and well cared for. The folks at Kava were great too. They scheduled my ride to the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Byron is a wonderful place in the old city centre of Dubrovnik. The interior decoration is extremely well done and gives you the feeling of being home away from home. We stayed in the Cathedral room and had views through our window of the ancient cathedral of Dubrovnik. The room has a small build in kitchenette and fridge which is handy if you stayed longer. We enjoyed all the good food around Dubrovnik. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They provided good advice on restaurants and were very responsive to arrange airport transfers. Just be mindful that for check-in you need to go the shop just outside the old city walls and then you have to walk with your luggage into the city.

Perfect location in the old city of Dubrovnik, being on a quiet street and close to many wonderful restaurants and the 'secret' swimming hole where we spent 2 afternoons soaking in the sun and swimming in the refreshing sea. Highly recommend staying here. Jon and the staff are very helpful and willing to accommodate all your needs. We will definitely stay here again.
