Good stop on the way to the islands and Highlands. We often stay in Dumbarton on our way to the Highlands and Islands. Travelodge was clean and easy to find behind the Starbucks. Parking was free and available. Staff were helpful. Nothing fancy but clean and easy for a single night on the way to our destination

Nice and easy stop over on the way up to the Highlands. Well priced for a family of four (2 adults/2 kids) who just needed a good night's sleep.

See my general comments about location, location is a bit rough tucked in behind commercial buildings, garage, car wash, car sales showroom and Starbucks.

Tub drain smell was disgusting. Could smell before opening room door. Was able to open windows and used spray from front desk

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere not a restaurant, pub or food outlet anywhere near, not the best place to stop

The lady called Lynsey on reception way very kind & helpful. I stupidly got my car stuck on the car park curb. She very kindly helped me push my car off it, which saved me. Would happily stay again, thanks!

To head east out of the hotel, you have to attempt to cross a very busy dual carriageway. The alternative, is to head west and drive for about a mile then turn around in Chivas Regal driveway to come back on yourself. That aside, there is a Starbucks on site, as well as a 24 hour garage that has a great choice of food items.

Staff were lovely, couldn't have been any nicer. The hotel itself is tucked behind the Star Bucks, you really need to keep an eye out for the Road going in or you'll go right past it. The room was lovely & clean, the only criticism I have was the shower was leaking so the water dripping during the night was a bit of an issue but not too much, it's as I said right next to the Star Bucks so quite handy, there's a garage & an M&S foodhall close by as well as a Black Rooster Peri Peri restraunt.

Not the first time we have stayed and this time as good as before. The reception staff were lovely ( met several of them over our 4 night stay ). Location perfect for our needs - fairly close to Loch Lomond and near to where our son lives. Hotel spotless and warm enough during the cold spell around New Year. Will definitely book next time we travel from West Midlands.
