Inside the Travelodge it's ok, pretty standard. Had a quiet night's sleep once the Crows went to bed! The hotel is right beside a load of tall trees... with... lots of Crows living (must be the RSPB Bird Travelodge). Between 20 and 30 of the darlings "CAW!, CAW!, CAW!). Then at 4:15am, CAW!, CAW!, CAW! You don't need to set an alarm! It's like a scene from the film "The Birds". If they could sing instead of CAW! CAW!, CAW!. There's a Starbucks and a Gregg's beside the Travelodge. I'd stay there again! Value for money.

5/5-5/14/25 I had originally booked the Best Western in Dumfries, but got a notice 2 weeks prior to my trip that it closed, so my concierge booked the Travel Lodge instead. It was clean, the bed was comfy, and shower was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Danny who went above and beyond the call of duty! He is very friendly and a wonderful asset to the the motel!

Hotel was basic, as expected/ advertised. Staff were all lovely, welcoming and helpful and the hotel/ room was clean, plenty of free tea/coffee etc available. My only criticism was the noise of other guests leaving early in the morning and not being considerate of others.

This is the second time we have stopped here in the last 6 months and we will stop again. we live up in Orkney and its so handy to break up the journey i know its a bit off the M74 but worth the detour. This is one of the best if not best in the UK and we have both stopped at many up and down the country. the staff are so so welcoming and friendly top marks.

Every crow from Scotland lives behind the hotel and makes a cacophony of noises for 14 hours straight. Receptionists were very nice although I'm convinced at this point that they were all just three crows in a coat

Clean, comfy bed, unlimited tea and coffee. Good value for money. Will return when i next visit the farm park

Very noisy delivery lorry right outside the window at 2am, woke me up, the unloading was very loud and went on a while

Charged for WiFi and can't use a fire stick for entertainment is a massive no . It's bad enough working away without having anything to watch at night

Security and parking The hotel offered easy access and secure parking The in-room tea and coffee facilities were convenient, presentation was eye catching , selection of tea and coffee suited my preference. Great gratitude to Cory the supervisor on duty who welcomed me to the hotel
