Skippers at Dundee

10 rooms with a couple of different sizes with AC, Fridge and bathroom. Our modest Standard Queen was tidy and served its purpose, the benefit here is the common space provided. A large kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, a big lounge with TV, table and chairs & lounge furniture. Outside a nice plunge pool, a BBQ, multiple seating areas and a large lawn and views of the sea. Good wifi, plenty of parking. An easy walk to the tavern which is great and the centre of the community.

Basic rooms but the shared space is really lovely and comfortable with everything you need to relax. Nice pool. Magnificent view, right on the waters edge. Very clean, easy stroll to the tavern A very easy and peaceful stay. The hammock was a winner

We had a pleasant stay. Our kid was very happy. Beach view was awesome.

The Skippers experience started with the booking- Lily was so great on the phone and made it such an easy booking process. She was so kind and really created a great start to our trip. When we arrived at Skippers we were taken away at how beautiful the spot was- right on the water with no view obstructions, massive desk with dining table and comfy couches which we enjoyed a beverage and cheese board whilst watching the sunset. The rooms where great, super clean with Ac's in each making it for a super comfortable sleep. Moggie took us out on the Rouge Mouliée (aka red mullet) for the fishing adventure of our life, chasing Tuna across the ocean, catching a shark, fighting in a Spanish mackerel, and we didn't have to worry about missing out as he had us on the right spots all day. Once it came time to enter the river we stopped at a 5ft croc eating a fish on the bank...amazing. We had a lovely lunch of sandwiches made by head Chef Ben whilst trawling down the river. Once back moggie cut up some of our fresh Tuna and mackerel for us to eat while we relaxed in the pool. Afternoon beers and chats with Kath, Ben and Moggie just finished off the perfect day. Kindest people you will know and made our experience the best time. I would highly reccomend staying and fishing at Skippers. We loved it so much we went back a week later for another fish with them.

My husband and I went for a two night stay to simply rest and relax. Ben met us on arrival and you couldn’t have asked for a friendlier more helpful host! Skippers is in the perfect location and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Couldn’t have asked for better!

Skippers is the perfect place to relax and unwind for a couple of days, we had spent 4 days in Darwin and were heading off to Litchfield National Park. Dundee Beach is really just for the avid fisherman as there isn't much else around but we knew this going in as we had done our research. We onl spent 2 nights here but booked the adventure tour through Skippers which though a little pricey was a really great trip. We saw crocodiles, caught mudcrabs and had a go at catching barramundi. Shane was our host and tour guide and he was terrific, we had a great chat on our tour and watched the State Of Origin with him, go NSW! If your are expecting to be entertained this isn't the place for you but if you want to put your feet up, chillax and watch a brilliant sunset do yourself a favour and spend a couple of nights here.
