The apartment was large, but very tired looking and dirty; we had previously stayed pre-lockdown (previous owners) and it used to be lovely. We were staying for 5 days and there were only 2 items of cutlery and crockery supplied, with a dishwasher, what's the point! We had 4 hangers in the wardrobe, for 2 people, wow! The 1st night and next day we had no hot water to take a shower; we had to boil the kettle to have a wash in the sink! As there are no night porters and no staff after 6.30 pm, we had to wait until the next day for help. We asked reception to get a maintenance person to fix the problem and were told that he doesn't work Mondays, so come back tomorrow! That evening, someone got into our apartment with a key and fortunately we were in! We had to put a chest of drawers against the door, as no night porter on. The next day we informed the manager on reception, who said that they hadn’t been told, even though the other reception informed us that they had. The manager wasn’t interested and stated 'I don't know what you want me to say'...….. well, an apology would be a start! Needless to say, we didn't feel safe staying there and so moved to another hotel. It was so anxiety provoking. Subsequently, I contacted Dream apartments numerous times, as there is no direct number to the head office, and requested a full refund, as the contract had not been fulfilled. After lie upon lie, we contacted ***********, who attempted to contact them to retrieve the monies, to no avail. *********** have refunded our monies and are dealing with dream apartments themselves, but needless to say, we will never stay there again!
