The Cedars Guest House

Well deserved 5 stars Fantastic stay! Jackie couldn’t have been more helpful with friendly advice on travel and restaurants along with a fab cooked breakfast and specially bought fruit and yogurt for my wife. Room was spotless and comfy too. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Jackie our host was wonderful! 10 out of 10!! She was welcoming,kind,helpful and professional at all times during our stay. Accomodation was cosy and comfortable. Jackie got us dinner reservations to wonderful local restaurants and suggestions for hikes and activities.

Great place to stay, right by the water and walking distance to local amenities, plenty of street parking. Property spotlessly clean and beds comfy, really good shower. Jackie made us really welcome and kept in touch to make sure we got the best from our stay. Cooked breakfast was really well cooked and delicious.

This was our second stay at the Cedars Guest House. Our first stay was in 2019 and when returning to Dunoon for a second visit to this delightful town, we had no second thoughts about staying at the Cedars again. Jackie and Ray are wonderful hosts. Jackie cares about her guests, and goes above and beyond to help ensure that your stay in the area is as best as it can be. Her attention to detail and knowledge is just amazing. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Nice shower and the view from the rooms overlooking the firth are wonderful. Added to that the comfortable chairs to watch the activity on the firth, one could just be content sitting and observing. However, knowing there is so much to see and do, and knowing that a wonderful breakfast is waiting for you, spurs you on to get going in the morning and take on the day. After a day of seeing the sights, it is nice to relax in those comfortable chairs with a cup of tea and just appreciate your good fortune to have had the opportunity to be in Dunoon at the Cedars.

What a great place to stay. Well kept and Jackie goes out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. It was nice walking around Dunoon and the nearby Lorne restaurant was great. We look forward to returning. Thank you John and Jackie Frank Pittsburgh Pennsylvania

Fantastic guest house. Owners really friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are spacious, well furnished and immaculate. Sea views are stunning. Only short walk from ferry and the town centre is only a short walk away also.
