The welcome and care we received from Jane and James was second to none. The bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was excellent- I recommend the mushroom omelette. But what was truly impressive was the fact that Jane was so kind in providing us with a ‘Take Away’ breakfast on the day of our departure as we were leaving very early. If you wish to stay in Dunster and would like to be well loved during your stay then go to Exmoor House.

Fantastic weekend away. Comfortable room with excellent facilities. Breakfasts are awesome. Our hosts Jane and James are most welcoming and accommodating. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Looking forward to our next visit hopefully soon.

Lovely weekend stay in November at this historic venue in a beautiful building. The hosts James and Jane were perfect and very friendly. Breakfast was gorgeous, best fried bread we have ever had. Fresh milk for each room was a great feature and extra was never a problem. Comfortable bed and great nights sleep. Dunster village is a beautiful place. Highly recommend this friendly high quality B&B.

Central location .in a stunning village . A character property tastefully decorated and furnished . Welcoming hosts who went to great pains to anticipate their guests needs with so Many little extras . The included breakfast was freshly cooked and the fried bread was divine.

James made us very welcome on arrival with tea and cake Room well appointed with comfortable bed The breakfast is excellent in a pleasant dining room Recommend this guest house in a lovely village There are good places to eat close by Very good national park office with helpful staff

Had a fabulous short break at this B&B. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is everything you need supplied from tea, coffee and biscuits to a full range of toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. James and Jane are very friendly and helpful, offering excellent suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Dunster is a lovely little village with good restaurants and pubs to suit every budget. The wider area is also great to explore we especially enjoyed visiting Lynton and Lynmouth using the open topped bus.

I can’t praise this B&B enough. Chris & Jane were warm and welcoming when we arrived. Our room was lovely, with everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with a good choice of hot and cold choices. The hot choices being cooked to order with both hosts on hand to make sure we had everything we wanted. Also great location in the village. Could not recommend highly enough and would definitely stay again if visiting the area again.

A weekend stay in the best bed and breakfast - ever. James and Jane have gone the extra mile in providing superb accommodation, a tasty breakfast and a comfortable bedroom with bathroom extras, soft drinks, and tea and coffee available when required. A selection of games in the large sitting room provided us with a fun evening too.
