Amr Hotel - Durres

I visited today this new beach bar Fature Amh Hotel which is located in Plazh in Durres. The potential of this place is huge because it is located in the center of a well-known beach. I ordered one Nescafe Frappe and my dad just simple espresso. I know almost all the cafe's in Plazh and this experience was the worst. They gave me not a coffee they served milk with a lot of ice in a plastic. Super bad experience especially that the coffee in Albania is really tasty. I told the waiter that it was a disaster which cost me 250 lek so 2,5€. Tourists dont waste your money and time for this mistake. I think every other cafe in Plazh will be much better than that one. Not recommended!

A really nice hotel, everyone was nice and welcoming, the hotel was always clean and presentable. The staff members were informative. One was very handsome too. Drinks and food were delicious, best risotto Ive had. I will definitely go back next year.

We came as a family of three. Got a room ready for two. We hit snack time. There was a queue for the pizza. It wasn't enough for everyone. The staff assured us several times - wait, there will be more. After 20 minutes, snack time ended and someone in the restaurant said: there will be no more, but we finally got those pizzas! Thank you! The he next time they dosed them - one piece per person and that's AI! One of your best snacks! Make sure the customer has enough of it! The food is almost always cold. Additional food is transferred to already placed, eaten, cold trays. The food looks nice, decorated, but the taste was not right for us. Pathetic breakfast boxes for sightseeing. Although the restaurant had already put fruits, desserts, salads (I'm not sure they weren't left overnight), working guy did not allow us to take even an apple - breakfast is prepared for you and you will not take anything! The reatoran is cleaned a few minutes before breakfast. No warning signs that it's slippery. Beach is under the windows, half clean. The sea is warm. There are jellyfish that sting. There is no beach bar. You can enter the hotel only if you are dressed and not barefoot. Next to the hotel is an 8-lane road and train tracks - cars drive intensively around the clock. The steam was terrible. The metal blinds did nothing to suppress it. We were very disappointed with our holiday and will definitely not recommend anyone to travel this destintion. Really, sad.

The hotel is new (when we checked in, furniture was still being delivered to the rooms on the upper floors, while there is no noise of construction activity, as well as construction smells), the rooms are new, clean and fresh. The rooms are cleaned every day, cleaned thoroughю The hotel is located on the 1st line between the highway and the beach, so that the rooms have 2 views: overlooking the sea, pedestrian sidewalk and restaurant and overlooking the picturesque mountain and noisy busy motorway. The hotel has its own beach, clean and well-maintained, it is cleaned every morning, with free sunbeds and beach umbrellas, the hotel also provides beach towels. The hotel also has its own swimming pool, it is quite small, but the kids who are afraid to swim in the sea love it, the pool area is equipped with sunbeds during the day (which are not many) and which are removed in the evening and made into a restaurant area. The hotel has its own underground parking, not a big for a maximum of 20 cars, so when the hotel is fully occupied, I think there will be problems with parking, I didn’t notice parking security, access from the street is free Between the hotel and the beach there is a pedestrian street, along this pedestrian street there are many different restaurants and small shops. We had a room with a sea view, the room was clean and tidy and comfortable, it so happened that my 9-year-old daughter was not mention in reservation, but this did not cause problems during check-in, an extra bed was quickly prepared for her in the room, providing bed linen and towels. The hotel is presented as a 4-sters, but there are no bathrobes in the room, as is the case in ordinary hotels with 4 stars. And another thing that surprised me, there are not teas and coffees facilities, not at all, not even glasses in the room, although bottled water is provided every day, probably the hotel management believes that tourists comes with their own glasses or likes drink directly from bottles. On the first day, upon check-in, I called to the reception desk, asking to bring glasses, they brought them, but the next day, they were taken away during cleaning. I called to reception again and the glasses were brought again and the next day they were removed again and this continued until we left. The hotel doesn't have their own laundry, so they take the laundry to some laundromat in town. I handed over our clothes for washing, they promised to return them to me the next morning, in the end they returned them after 55 hours, when I had already resigned myself to the idea that I would not see my things again. However, probably as a relief for the inconvenience, I was not billed for the laundry. The hotel has a strange air conditioning system, as soon as the door on the balcony opens, the air conditioner turns off, to turns it on you have to closed the door and off again, if someone likes to enjoy with sea view on the balcony, those in the room have to put up with the heat. I had a great experience in Amr Hotel. My vacation was a blast. Hotel is very clean, has a beautiful view and nice decorations. Pillows are very floffy and the room smell very nice. The balcony is the right spot to have a dinner in the best sunset view .
