Hotel Madison recensioner

I booked a room at this hotel based on the photos, expecting a decent stay. However, upon check-in, I was given the room with the red carpet, which was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. The amenities were terrible, and it clearly hadn’t been renovated in a long time. At 12:30 AM, I had to request a room change because the elevator noise was unbearable. They gave me an even worse room where the sound of passing trains made it impossible to sleep. When I complained again, they finally moved me to the renovated room shown in the photos. This room was much better, which made me wonder why they didn’t give it to me in the first place, especially since it was available. The receptionist was not friendly and only changed my room after a lot of complaining. Overall, my experience was very disappointing, and the stay was not worth the price at all. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The room was pretty nice despite the reception was old. The breakfast was decent, an ok hotel for a short business trip.

Hotel is located less than 5 mins from Düsseldorf central train station. Train stations have few eateries like bakeries , Nordsee, pub like restaurant, DM to grab some food for the train ride. Continental Breakfast is also provided with room and is served from 0630- 1000. Basic amenities provided. Remember to pack your toothbrush, body moisturiser. There is a heater in the room, great for the winter season. There is no air conditioner for the summer. You can open the window.

Good hotel and friendly stuff.

It is an old hotel. I have no expectation as for the price I paid. However, if you are staying here for conference, you may have a better choice of hotel. The queue for breakfast can be troublesome.

Nice location, friendly staffs, good price with breakfast included! ( also can leave bags in the luggage rooms before Check-in and after Check-out, very helpful)

The hotel is located around 400m from the Düsseldorf main train station. The room facing the street is way too noisy due to the tram and people talking loudly on the street. The area is absolutely not safe. To open the room the traditional key is used and can be left at the concierge when going out and collected when coming back. The breakfast is ok and the staff is not very friendly. The TV is small and too far away from the bed. Only positive thing to me mention is that the room is spacious.

The woman on the night shift at the reception was very rude and uninterested. The window of the room she gave me wouldn't close. Then she asked me to go back. This time she gave me a very small and smelly room in a maze-like annex. It was horrible. I will never stay at this hotel again.

I was several times to this hotel, so I live one reference only. The funny thing is that when I search I get a price without breakfast. Then I add a filter to get offer including breakfast and I get the same price with breakfast. The GM (or the person that seems to be the GM) seems to be more suited for training tigers in a circus than to be a gentle hotel manager, but she definitely knows how to keep all running smoothly for the guests. Beware of some strict rules about the breakfast of you might get a very concerned waitress discretely whispering to you not to do something.

The location was good. Near to halal restaurant and central station . The presentation of the breakfast is good and there are quality drinks. The breakfast keeps on replacing.

Building is not renewed, but rooms are good and completely clean. Breakfast is fantastic. Overall,services compare with the price are very good.

The room was clean and breakfast is so delicious it has many varieties. Location is close to central train station but touristic attractions are 20 minutes of walk.

I choosed this Hotel for a 3 day stoppover next to the Mainstation Düsseldorf for an unbeatable price. Everything was fine for me, i will come back. Who is expecting a 5 Star hotel should book a 5 Star Hotel.

We booked a double bed . But when we arrived they gave us two single beds and then they charged extra for giving us a room that still had no double bed but 2 mattresses connected.
