Lovely one bed cottage - the owner came to greet me and was very nice - the place is secluded and quiet - just perfect - the bed was lovely and comfortable - the kitchen is well-equipped, was particularly impressed with the jars full of tea and coffee! Will definitely come again.

Lovely little apartment. Clean, comfy and well stocked. Easy parking, very convenient for town centre. Reasonable price. Friendly hosts. Exactly as advertised and just what we needed for an overnight work-related stay. Thank you very much.

We stayed at Glendower as a family of 5, ourselves and our two young children stayed in Bonner Apartment and my parents in Orchard Cottage. Both were fabulous in terms of convenience, comfort and cleanliness. Beds were comfy and We really appreciated the little touches such as toiletries, tea coffee and sugar, and toys in the family apartment. Our kids spent hours playing with them and also found the bunkbeds really exciting. The location is perfect, a couple of minutes walk to town and the very informative visitor guide helped us choose our dinner- a delicious takeaway from the Turkish restaurant. Finally, we loved the fact we had adjoining accommodation that were still separate. Meant we could spend the evening together but that Nanny and Grandad got a lie in! Great idea and thanks Jane and Steve. Had everything we needed and was a lovely stay. Highly recommended!

I travel a lot with my job, and places like this make that a little easier. Nice to come back to a comfy, cosy and well equipped apartment each night. Couldn't ask for more. Lovely old place, with all the modern conveniences, and a comfy bed. Would deffo come back again if I'm working in the area

Arrived unfortunately very late at night at this Bed and Breakfast, and was warmly greeted by Steve. He showed us up to our room, which was the superior room, explained so politely where the bathrooms were, what time we could have breakfast which was any time between 7.30- 11am, and seeing that we were obviously tired, bid us a good night. Bedroom was huge and very clean, bed super comfy with excellent bedding you just sunk into. loved the ornate silver full length mirror, along with lots of period features. Breakfast was ample with cereal, toast, yoghurt's, fruit and then a full cooked breakfast cooked by Steve in his very pretty kitchen. He asked us how everything was and seemed to generally care what we felt about our stay, even chatting about his family which made us feel very at home, we would stay here definitely again, Well worth the money and such a good price for such a very pleasant stay. .

Pub flat: Disappointed.... good points: Fairly clean (apart from some of the windows and lights, which are hard to clean) bedroom floor a little sticky..... oh and a dirty toilet brush from previous user, which was inbetween the toilet and bath... maybe not that clean actually. It's spacious, lots of hot water, although a little too hot from the tap. Bad points: Very noisy, there was live music on at the pub, people talking. Heating very loud. Bed was OK, but I woke feeling really stiff and achy. Hot tap is very hard to turn off, so there is the sound of a dripping tap. Very dated bathroom, uneven floor with lino over the top, cupboard door doesn't close properly, bathroom door only shuts if locked. Tap as previously mentioned. Shower OK, but you can't stand under it because of the slop from the bath. Sealant coming away from the bath and tiles. Just very basic, could be lovely if updated.

Not quite sure why this place scores so highly. Upside it's very clean and right in the centre of the town. Small rooms where the twin bedded room only a accomodates the beds by having them positioned at angles and no room for a wardrobe just a rail and a table doubles as dressing table.
