We came for Sunday lunch which was excellent and stayed overnight in a perfectly fine room. If the breakfast is as hearty as lunch, I’ll be even happier. Excellent value and an excellent team led by Fran. Ideal location for exploring Norfolk especially the wonderful English Distillery.

Absolutely lovely experience at the NAGSHEAD. Rooms were excellent. They catered for a family party 30+ guests. Food and staff were excellent. Breakfast was very well presented nothing was a problem for the staff. Special shout out to Allison on Saturday night thank you.

We have eaten at the Nag's twice recently, both mid week days, and the restaurant has been full on both occasions. In addition to the set menu there are daily specials, usually slightly unusual, inventive, and extremely tasty. The service is always relaxed, friendly and efficient, and the prices very acceptable. If you give customers good food, good service and good value, they will come back; and so shall we.

Visited The Nags Head whilst camping nearby. The food was outstanding, great choice for both adults and kids. Reasonably priced, friendly and welcoming staff. Good selection of bar games, would recommend.

I only ate in the restaurant here. Initially it seems very nice, however the customer service was so mixed, it's hard to give a five review. On occasions, bar staff more interested in gossiping with locals than serving. But once engaged, absolutely lovely. Waiting staff. On the night I went it was busy, and the young person waiting was really busy. However she was brilliantly attentive, and had it all under control. Absolute star! Food was fine. Standard fare and you got what you paid for. Portion sizes more than adequate.

We visited The Nags Head for a Sunday roast last weekend and we certainly weren’t disappointed. With 3 different meat options, a nut roast for vegetarians (but also other choices on the menu if a roast isn’t your thing) there was plenty to choose from, with a good range of beers and drinks available too. We ordered our roasts plus one for my infant daughter (I asked if peas could be added to hers as they aren’t usually included and it was no issue which was helpful). The food came up piping hot, with a nice range of veg and a huge homemade Yorkshire pudding, with an added bonus of cauliflower cheese in a side bowl which was a nice touch. We requested more gravy and an extra jug was brought over too. Nothing is too much of an ask here, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall fantastic food, nice atmosphere and great service- wouldn’t hesistate to return!

Stopped by for lunch as visiting Swallow aquatics. The food was absolutely amazing. Very generous portions cooked to perfection. The deserts were also very generous and beautiful. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place.

We checked the Sunday opening times yesterday for Sunday morning breakfast. Sign inside pub says 9am Website says 9am Waited until after 9:30. Could see staff through the window so I politely tapped and was ignored. Knocking on the locked door produced no response from the staff either. Phone before visiting. I walked to the nearest other breakfast place which was 25 minutes away. Dissspointed.
