Comfort Suites Manheim - Lancaster

Room was very nice. Spacious and clean. Teenage Kids liked the pool a lot. Just a fine place to stay.

First time staying at this hotel. Not as good as I had hoped. The elevator: Out of order Juice machine in breakfast area: Apple Juice Out of order Ice machine : Out of order Maybe this a trend after seeing 3 things not available I cannot have orange juice as it is too acidic, so I like apple juice and could not have it as the apple juice dispenser was not working. While this place would appear to be quiet, set in the farmlands of the Amish Country, the room had a curious noise like crickets. My guess is it sounded like some sort of machinery under the building that came into the room through the closet. Imagine trying to sleep with a cricket like noise coming and going while you are trying to sleep. The signage is not good, there is a ramp to RT 283 very close to the road that goes to the hotel, so it is very easy to take this ramp and you will wind up on the highway and you better have a GPS to get you back to the hotel as it was not as easy as one would think, I know, I made this mistake. The hotel is actually quite nice, nice size suite, I think it had 12 foot ceilings. There is a fitness room and indoor pool. Ran into some travelling sports team, so we visited the breakfast area at the same time that they did so we gave up getting some toast as the line was nuts. As far as I could tell, there were only English Muffins, no white bread or whole wheat as I have seen other places. I like raisin bran and the only 2 choices for cereal were Cheerios and Fruit Loops, so if you like those 2 choices, it will be fine. This place was not terrible by any means, but I prefer to stay at the Sleep Inn in Ronks, if I have a choice in the future, I think I would prefer to go there. With so many things not working, the annoying noise in the room, my stay was not as good as I had hoped it would be.

Nice location to the sports complex however there are some issues the need to be addressed. I imagine this hotel brings in decent money since its location is ideal for anyone going to Spooky Nook. Breakfast was bad, rooms need a lot of TLC overall it’s better to pay more and drive in. Avoid the suspicious stains on the furniture and the reusable bottles of water down shampoo (if you are bold no issue if you have long hair pick up a handful at the front desk).

Elevator was broke, a room was not ready by 4pm and the large sweaty man w/ a towel at the breakfast buffet was extremely rude, unprofessional in appearance and attitude starred at us while we attempted to take yogurt then proceeded to go back to his table in the dining room to finish his own breakfast we went back to get utensils then he stood up again and followed us again.it was a too 10 creepy moment I truly felt like e were being pranked.

This hotel has been grossly over rated! We found lots of things, about a half of dozen, on the floor of our room. Not only was it not vacuumed but these were visable things like wrappers, etc. Very lackluster breakfast with bare minimum and so-so quality items. Guy maning the breakfast wasn't very friendly. All in all a mediocore stay, way below what we normally experience at a Comfort Suites.

I would describe this hotel as fine aka nothing special about it, but also nothing wrong with it. The rooms were lacking in any particular way but I agree with the feeling that it felt small for a two queen room. I also wonder if they were queen beds. The front desk staff were nice and we didn't have any issues. I agree with others that the breakfast wasn't very good.

The Comfort Inn is a typical mediocre value hotel. The hotel is new and that's about it. The front desk was friendly enough at check-in and that was the only staff we ever saw except for the breakfast attendant. There is no housekeeping other than new towels, no one makes the beds, cleans the bathroom, vacuums etc. Additionally my daughter found crumbs in her bed which made us think the bed linens hadn't been changed after the last guest. I booked a room with two queen beds but our room had two double beds. I asked the front desk about the beds and was told they were queens. I measured the beds and they were 54", the size of a standard double bed. The hotel provides a pantry where guests can purchase snacks, ice cream, soft drinks and even wine/beer which was nice. However there was no option to charge things to the room, each transaction had to be with a card or cash. This only added to the budget vibe. Breakfast options were scrambled eggs, sausage and waffles. Plus a handful of muffins, oatmeal (that you make yourself by adding hot water) and some cereal. All served on paper plates and plastic utensils. The breakfast attendant was dressed in jeans, hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap with sunglasses on top. No uniform or anything to suggest he was with the hotel which seemed to be a common theme, no one wore a uniform. All this serves to remind you this is a budget hotel. For $189+ tax/night I would have expected a bit more. I usually stay at Hyatt and have Globalist status. This hotel really re-enforced why I try to only use Hyatt. Even Hyatt's budget properties (Hyatt House and Hyatt Place) are much better than this hotel. The hotel is very close to Spooky Nook which is the only redeeming quality, we were in town for a volleyball tournament. There are no restaurants or other amenities near the hotel. I likely would not use this hotel in the future.

We stayed at Comfort Suites for 3 days while visiting different attractions in and around Lancaster County. Our stay was very restful and it was within 30 minutes of all the places we visited. The breakfast was delicious and staff was helpful when refilling items. The only thing that could have been better was the cleaning staff did not make the beds or clear out used washcloths. When we asked about our beds, the next day the cleaning person just threw the blankets on, not really making the beds. Other than that, the staff did a great job!

This is an excellent hotel. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable. Great location. Nice large rooms. Lots of stuff to do nearby. We would highly recommend this hotel. Hope to stay here again when traveling through Pennsylvania.
