Ramada by Wyndham East Kilbride recensioner

It would be helpful if somewhere on the website or on the major SatNav information the entrance for the parking ramp was listed. In that description it should also be noted that the parking is free while staying at the hotel BUT vehicles must be shorter than 5’9”. Our family drove around the facility only after following directions provided by the satnav that said to go into the maintenance entrance. Registration was easy and the staff was helpful. We went down the elevator to the 10th floor and then walked all the way to the end of a very long hallway to our room. It seemed crazy that we were so far from the elevator and during our stay we didn’t notice people coming or going from the rooms in between our and the elevator.  The cleanliness could be worked on. There was a film of thick dust on anything higher than 6’0”. Being a taller person I could see it in the bathroom and on the wardrobe unit so I cleaned the surfaces so I could use them during our stay.  We went to breakfast one morning and our attendant was amazing. Her name was Mia and she was kind. She welcomed us and was genuine. My young daughters appreciated the work she was doing and that she helped them with their food. Mia helped arrange a fried egg for my 12 year old and it was cooked wonderfully. A memorable young woman because she was so keen to help and do well at her job.

Excellent, perfect location for us, easy to follow instructions to the car park which I recieved by email, had a very enjoyable 3 night stay, staff were excellent friendly and extremely helpful, the room was perfect, spacious clean and well maintained, the shower was brilliant good pressure and constant hot water, would recommend to everyone and will definitely be staying again.

Nice hotel - building a bit run down but inside nice and rooms good with good service at reception and in the bar area. Great for a central stay in EK if an event on or visiting family. WOuld book again.

Hotel was super clean! Staff were helpful and nice! Only thing I could fault was the breakfast it was £10pp but wasn’t alot of options or to choose from! Especially having a partner that dosent eat any meat! Apart from that was good hotel definitely stay again

Very curious entry through a large multi storey car park to Level 2 and then up to the top of a Brutalist tower block for Reception and restaurant on Level 12. Rooms are on levels 9-11. Rooms similar to Premier Inn but better showers....but I think my sheets were nylon so I slept badly. Didn't try the restaurant.

The room was super spacious and clean, toilet amenities is a bit bare, so bring your own toothbrush/comb etc. The way to the hotel reception was a bit confusing but basically you have to drive all the way up to Level 3 and the entrance to the door is not sheltered so be careful of rain! After going through the door, turn right, walk straight through multiple doors, and take the lift up to Level 12 where the reception is. Actually this “hotel” is pretty big each level has lots of rooms. It’s also connected to a mall but all the more popular shops (like M&S and the grocery store) are closed so nothing much to do there. But you can drive a short while to bigger grocery chains. Overall a good comfortable stay and it makes a perfect pit stop

Ok place, right above a shopping mall, you can get breakfast and lunch and afternoon tea anytime. I bit troublesome to park the car, but if you are a human and with a brain it should work out without any issue.

Hotel was ok receptionist seemed a bit flustered when we arrived. It does say check in at 3 but we wanted to enjoy the day out in East Kilbride so arrived at 12 . She did comment to another member of staff about us and another couple arriving early. We didn’t have to go to room just wanted to get out and about without luggage. She then said she could charge us a fee for early check in but said she would let us off this time. If she had charged me I would have said stick it. Reception is floor 12 . We were on floor 8 . Couldn’t get heating to work in room and the wind was whistling through the windows and were really noisy couldn’t do anything about the windows. All in all it was fair

Great price, hotel really clean, breakfast choice is excellent, free car parking aswell, would definitely book again if in this area..

The hotel is really nice and quiet, the bed was really comfortable. It can be quite hard to find the way in if you’ve come at night when it’s dark and not many people around. It’s quite straight forward with transport links into the town when you know where you are going.
