Hotel front desk person was very pleasant. The room smells funny and not in a good way. The beds are lumpy and very soft no support at all, carpet is dirty looking, furniture is old. I just feel itchy. I would never stay here again and I have stayed here in the past and it was absolutely fine. In desperate need of a deep cleaning and renovations.

Great location and pleasant rooms. I loved the shower (no tub). It is not luxurious but clean and nicely decorated. They offer a free breakfast and water. The staff at the front desk were so kind and helpful. There is a restaurant conveniently nextdoor. I stayed twice in two weeks and enjoyed my stay both times.

This is a middle of the road place. It was okay in cleanliness although we found hair in one of the beds and pillow cases. They exchanged them with no problem but also with no apology. The pool is cold and the roof leaks on you while you swim. The breakfast was nice and there were a few options. Despite the hair in the bed, we had a good nights rest as the bed was comfortable. The theme is country and it has some cute things to it. I liked we had an ironing board and an iron in the room and didn't have to ask like so many places we have been. While it's generally clean, it could have been cleaner. Because there is so much traffic, it was nice to have a red light to get into and out of the place. I will add though that it is tucked a way a bit so it's not obvious which light on route 30 to turn at.

This was our first stay at the Country Inn of Lancaster and we were pleasantly pleased. It is a balance of country charm warm hospitality. We immediately began to experience this with the front desk during our check-in. The young lady who processed our reservation was just so nice. She was helpful, talking time to share with us all that we needed to know for our stay (check-out time, breakfast times, etc.), answered questions and offered local dining suggestions. Upon entering our room we were presently with a spacious room. It was simply appointed and everything was in good condition and good working order. The appointments were certainly outdated but, again, everything was in good condition and well maintained. They only thing it lacked for us was a microwave. The beds and linens were clean and very comfortable. Bathroom had ample hot water and more than sufficient room. The private balcony/patio with rocking chairs is an added bonus. On our next visit we will entertain staying here again.

Nice no frills inn. Staff friendly, room comfortable. 24 hrs coffee, tea or juice nice touch. Stay included small continental breakfast. Located in a great area filled with all your shopping and dining needs. Surrounded by the Lancaster Amish countryside for those interested in exploring.

The positive is the how friendly the staff were from front desk to housekeeping . I would never have stayed here but we had to for a tournament. This place as you can see from pictures is very old and outdated. Yes, it gives the Lancaster vibe but mold smelling rooms, dusty rooms, peeling wall paper, cob webs in the room, and old very old gross carpet in the rooms just are unnecessary. The worst was the visual appearance of the mattresses which were not even fully covered with sheets or blankets and you could see the large stains . The sheets that I had was so thin it was see through. I can say all the rooms were like this , not one was better than the other. I am not a hotel snob but I had to wear slippers when getting out of the shower as the floor was disgusting. This place has potential but needs a big big update. Again friendly staff, great location but not worth the price or worth the hassle of sleeping in a smelly gross room.

My husband and I just returned from several days adventuring around Lancaster. We stayed here and loved it. We arrived very early our first day (like 8am) and went in to inquire what time we could check in and the very friendly staff said, humm how about now? I knew we would enjoy our stay. Yes the place is a bit outdated but we very much enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs, sipping coffee and or adult beverages was very enjoyable. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub a few times. Overall great location, clean and great staff. We would stay again

Very clean and pleasant. they severed breakfast but we didn't have. looked good though. close to things and restaurant/bar right next door. Beds were nice and they have a little porch with rocking chares. Will stay again.

A quaint small motel / hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and property well maintained. They had an indoor pool which we did not get a chance to try. Bathroom was very clean. Bed were just OK. Breakfast was adequate.
