I never write reviews but feel compelled as this still bothers me. We had a nice stay for a weekend in the Fall, then on our way to the airport to fly home, we immediately realized several (pricey) articles of clothing were accidentally left in the wardrobe drawer, so we called the inn right away, as we didn’t have enough time to turn back. At the time we felt confident the inn would return the clothes to us, at our expense of course since it was our mistake, and our experience thus far had been good. We even spoke to someone at the desk who was going to check with housekeeping and call us back. Never received a call. Multiple calls to the inn, multiple messages left, no response over several weeks. Being persistent, I eventually got a person on the phone, who simply stated nothing had been turned into lost and found. So apparently we are out of luck and several hundreds of dollars worth of clothes. What was a good experience was turned bad because of the dishonesty.
