Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh - Leith Waterfront recensioner

Room is spotless and Hotel in good location. Tram and bus station all are near. It's a 3 star hotel and value for money. Only draw back is the breakfast . It's not up to the level. Hot buffet but dishes are cold 🤣. Expect that all are great. Especially reception staff.

The hotel was great. Simple but clean. The reception was very nice as well accommodating all our needs!

The room was clean the downside is that the room was cold and the heater air conditioner wasn't working properly it would have some warm air then go cold. When I told them on check out they told me that I should have asked for a heater when I checked in, as the unit is only an air conditioner not what it says on the instructions and should of been told this when I checked in. The breakfast wasn't great the bacon was cooked wrapped up so it was hard and the hash browns were dry so you could tell they were cooked in the oven the tomatoes were just warm, a good variety though with cooked, cereals, yogurts, fruits and pastries.

Overall clean and compact hotel with loads of buses passing by. However amenities are not sufficient such as there was no supply of slippers

It was very easy to find the Hotel, by bus, from the centre of Edinburgh. All the staff were very friendly and professional. When I told them that we’d been cold the previous night, they brought a heater up to our room. Excellent breakfast ( including vegetarian sausages when I asked if they had any ). There was also a gluten free trolley.

Located 30 mins away from the central area but has a tram stop right in front of the hotel which takes you directly to the city. Good and simple breakfast provided. Rooms are cleaned daily.

The hotel was conveniently situated for the tram into Edinburgh. Unfortunately the TV didn’t work when got into the room nor did the extraction fan in the bathroom. I called reception and the man got the TV working but he didn’t get the fan working properly. He said do you want some room spray and I said no I want it working. He offered to see if we could change rooms but no one got back to me. The breakfast was average.

The hotel is a bit far from the city centre and the rooms and beds are small, but clean. The front desk is very polite, nice

The hotel is very comfortable, the staff are attentive to customers, gave us a heater, changed the room (the air conditioner in ours did not work), but the breakfast was terrible. There was absolutely nothing to eat, and what was there (4 dishes) was not tasty.

Highly recommended for family trip. We only pay £10 for family of 2 adults and 3 childrens.

the system is so convenient, l can received all detail booking pdf in the email box. that's awesome when you need to prepare some documents to sumbit visa application or other activities.
