Wilde Aparthotels Edinburgh Grassmarket recensioner

Booked this hotel based on good reviews, and it did not disappoint! We walked from Waverly to hotel with 3 huge luggages, it is not far but it is hilly so choose the path that does not involve stairs. Check-in and out is VERY efficient, just mention your name and they will immediately escort u to your apartment. Saw previous reviews saying receptionist is not friendly, but honestly I think they are being efficient and that is just what I needed after a 20-hour journey. I booked the open plan 1-bedroom apartment for us 2 adults and 2 kids. Room is at ground floor with the entrance from outside walkway directly to the living room. This means people walking outside your room will be able to see you, but there are curtains and blinds to block those views. The bedroom does not have doors though, just an entrance from hallway. The apartment is very homey and comfortable to us, we cooked almost every meal, being fully equipped. It has dining table comfortable for 4, and efficient layout. Bathroom is perfect size with sufficient hot water. Heater is working very well. Location is very close to famous victoria street, and near the famous stairs filmed in “One Day”. Used the laundry service and is good. Sainsbury local nearby with 4 mins walk. Overall satisfied and highly recommend.

We love the fact that it has a small kitchen in the apartment so we can do some cooking in the morning in case we don't feel like eating out. The staff are very welcoming and kind 😀 the location is definitely great as there are many eateries within walking distance

Very nice little apartment, however be aware that if your booking it under 6 days there is no housekeeping

Rooms are good. Strange thing happened sometimes. Paint and litter in my room for no reason, as I was just checked in.

The team was really what made the trip worthwhile. Excellent people working here who really help out when things don’t go as planned. We had some splotches in the room from a poor cleaning and they sent someone to clean the room/provided us with a discount. Overall a great stay and would come back again.

Good location with great view. Friendly staff and services except the rubbish cleaning (I put signed for 3 nights but did not attend)
