If you can live with the watered down shower wash then this is a great value option. It's a bit bleak and 'functional' looking from the outside but once you're in the reception welcome is quick and friendly, the room is a decent size, great shower, large TV, comfy bed and the bars & cafes of Leith are less than 10 minutes away by tram, the tram stop is a short walk from the hotel.

Room was clean and bed very comfortable as usual. Hotel rather old now and tired looking. Brewers Fayre ext door for meals not very good. Little choice and at breakfast lots of empty dishes and a while to stock up again. Prefer when meals are actually part of hotel and not separate. Hotel really needs an update

It was a comfortable stay and as always the bed was good and we had good nights sleeps. The staff were friendly and helpful, as always. We were sent next door to the Brewers Fayre for breakfast and the range of food was extensive and generous although cooked breakfast overall was cheap products. Strangely, I felt the scrambled eggs were powdered and made with water.. I may be wrong but… the fruit selection was lovely and lots of cereals if that’s your thing. Good selection of pastries and bread etc. my biggest complaint would be the premier inn room. It was very tired… window broken, curtains hanging off, tv control not working, skirting boards rotten and grubby. Certainly needs an update.

The view from my room was absolutely lovely! My bed was very comfortable but the rest of the room had alot of issues. It was very tired and old. The window was old and mouldy which made the room smell damp. The pillows were hard a rocks. There was no plug sockets anywhere near the bed. There was hairs around the bathroom and a dirty cleaning rag hanging on the door. The carpet was hairy and crumby.

Not the best stay I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at Edinburgh Leith Waterfront from 16th February to 17th February, just for 1 night. After 7 hours of traveling, I arrived at the hotel at midnight, exhausted and just wanting to rest. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Additionally, the room smelled of smoke, which made my stay even more unpleasant. Upon arrival, I was given a room that was the furthest from reception. While I did not mind the distance, after a long journey I was not prepared to walk back to reception to report these issues. Despite the outside temperature being close to zero, the room window was left open, and the heating was switched off. I immediately turned on the heating, but the room remained freezing. I called reception three times, each time waiting for approximately 3 minutes only to hear a recorded message saying that the team was busy. When the heater finally started warming up, it made loud noises throughout the night, disturbing my sleep. The next morning, when I raised my concerns with the young lady at reception, she simply dismissed my complaint, stating, "Yes, we know all the heaters do that." This response was unacceptable and displayed poor customer service. I am extremely disappointed with my experience and the lack of care shown by your staff. I suggest that your staff receive proper training in customer service to ensure future guests are treated with the respect they deserve.

Particularly wanted a premier inn with its own parking, so city centres were out, also wanted easy connections into city centre.leith fitted the bill perfectly, bus stop outside car parking so, tram stop around the corner. Premier inn comfort/quality/value for money goes without saying.
