This place is charming, inviting, and exceptionally well-maintained. The atmosphere is peaceful, a positive energy that makes you feel at ease. Surrounded nature— from the furniture and linens to the cabins and main house— the space has been thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and welcoming environment, both luxurious and cozy.

Our Room was amazing Comfortable Bed Very Clean nice Balcony overlooking the Beautiful Nature . Fall Colors It was so nice meeting Calle(owner). We definitely will return again so Peaceful and Beautiful area We will definitely refer our friends and family to stay there

We stayed while in the area for the Cass Scenic Railroad. The Moore house was the right choice. Quiet mountain setting but convenient to the main road. Clean and warm, we were there on a chilly night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

We had a delightful one night stay at the Moore House Inn and really enjoyed it. While the rooms are on the small side (as in all historic homes), the vibe and location were great. Our hosts were available, friendly and super helpful. If you're looking for a comfortable and very clean room, just a short drive (or walk) into the charming town of Marlinton, you'll find it at the Moore House Inn. We hope we'll be back.

Perfect getaway for the weekend, loved having a little cabin away from the others. Everything worked great, was clean, and the location was easy to access. Restaurants nearby. Friendly staff and easy check-in. Would definitely come back.

Perfect getaway spot. Came up for a wedding, otherwise would have never known about this place. Enjoyed the hot tub, the running creek just outside the window, and the very nice staff. Several cool spots to check out in the small town of Marlinton. Will be booking another trip in the future.

The cabin was adorable. It was very well equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The double bed was a bit small as we are used to a Queen but we made do. The owners were friendly and pleasant and made sure that we had an enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this establishment. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The rooms were cozy and super clean. The owners are so friendly and caring. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay. The cook off was fun and we met so many wonderful people. God bless

This inn was clean, very friendly upon arrival and very easy to find. The room 6 had an outside entrance with steps and an en suite bath. The continental breakfast was a "serve yourself" deal in the community kitchen of the inn which was clean and efficient. We would recommend this family inn to anyone.
