Baobab Ridge

My wife and I along with 10 family and friends spent an amazing three nights at Baobab Ridge. Nick and team were very accommodating, and we had a memorable time. The daily safaris were amazing where we in the hands Devine and Marvin who were both spectacular drivers and trackers. Privilege and team prepared fantastic meals and the hospitality from all at Baobab were just amazing. The rooms were fabulous, clean and very well kept. The team knows exactly how to cater the needs of its guest and we're truly grateful to have been able to spend time here at this amazing place. We can't say enough about our stay here.

Just wow! A beautiful game lodge, the cottage is huge and the bed super comfortable. Loved waking up to sounds of thr jungle. Excellent bathroom facilities,a soak in the tub is a must! Food excellent, only regret missing the brai bomba night but that was because we had a private dinner by the waterhole for our wedding anniversary Game drives were superb,lions, leopards, elephants, herds, birds. Movem was a superb guide, so helpful and knowledgeable. We didn't do the Bush walk because that guide was on holiday... something to come back for. This lodge had everything we could need and so many thoughtful extras. Superbly friendly staff, and easy to book with transfers from Hoedspruit

We saw all the big 5 on the first day! Everything was great from beginning to end, even before we arrived with the communication and ease of arranging airport transfers. Rooms are gigantic and private and a relaxing place to hang between drives. The food was varied, delicious and SO plentiful, we were stuffed. Snacks and drinks during the game drives were something to look forward to. The entire staff was so lovely and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Nic and the team at Baobab Ridge are friendly, welcoming, and caring. They do everything to ensure that you have a great stay, highlighted with fantastic wildlife viewing. All of the meals were incredible and the team was great at handling special dietary needs. Meals at the main lodge were a nice combination of time together, but still having the privacy of a table for your own party. One evening, we had a barbecue in the Boma, the atmosphere was magical. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had everything you might need. In the afternoons it was nice to have a nap or sit and read while listening to the birds and monkeys. Morning and evening safaris were amazing, the guides are very knowledgeable and communicate with each other to get you the best sightings possible. All of the sightings felt very private with only a few vehicles there at a time. What a treat to be pampered at the lodge for 2 nights!

We stayed for 2 days in Baboab Ridge and we loved it! Rooms are spectacular; very spacious, private, and fully equipped. The service was excellent, also the food and the facilities. It all feels very intimate and exclusive. Game rides and guides (Divine in particular) were awesome! The lodge is located in a really nice area with open spaces were you can drive outside the trails and get very close to animals. You can also see animals from the pool, which has a nice and relaxing area with a waterhole right in front... Overall it was a fabulous experience!

We spent 3 nights and 4 days in Baobab Ridge and had the times our lives. The facility - wonderful! The main lodge area and dining areas are very nice and they rotate where you dine. You will be having meals on the patio, the lawn, inside table, and amazing white tablecloth dinner by the fireside. The cottages were very nice, large, and had everything we needed. Game Drives and Guides - Couldn't have asked for anyone better. We had so much fun with Devine. He is so extremely knowledgable and knows the area and other people so well. We saw eery animal and we even saw the big five in one drive. Devine is awesome and has been with the company for years. Food and staff - The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was made from scratch and tasted so good! Some of the best food we have ever eaten. Their cooks and dining staff are amazing and so professional and friendly Nic, the general manager, was always attentive and checked in with us every day. The lodge was very well run! Highly recommend Baobab Ridge! We will definitley being going back!
