The Funny Lion - El Nido recensioner

Här är din utsikt lol, det här är huvudvägen med mycket buller. Lycka till med att sova, lastbils- och bussbuller hela natten lång... inte hotellet för mig.

Hotellet var tillmötesgående när jag bad om att få flytta från femte våningen till bottenvåningen eftersom min äldre mamma tyckte det var svårt att gå upp och ner för trapporna eftersom det inte finns någon hiss till våningarna. Maten på restaurang Hunt är utsökt och atmosfären är fridfull. Mycket vänlig personal, de gjorde också i ordning vår lunch för vår 5-6 timmar långa minibussresa till Puerto Princesa flygplats.

Så trevligt att bo på detta fina hotell i två nätter!! Det gav oss oförglömliga ögonblick någonsin i mitt liv. Hotellets läge är mycket nära staden och allt är fantastiskt, särskilt poolen!!

Even though we found this hotel on social media, the real thing did not disappoint. The staff was very attentive and even though we had a small problem with the airport pick up they’re more than made up for it with their service. Chilling by the pool, enjoying the food outside and inside as well as the spa treatments were all top-notch. Highly recommend and I would definitely go back. 

The service is outstanding. 10/10 would come back again. They know all our names all the time.

This place went above and beyond for my family when we stayed at El Nido - The Funny Lion (June 26 - July 3). The staff are very friendly and professional. Their Customer service is 10/10. When you ask for something, they give it right away. The Manager was really kind and helpful especially to my 2 yr old daughter, Valerie. I am thankful and grateful for the team at El Nido - The Funny Lion. There are a few suggestions for improvements I would like to add: Better drainage system for shower. It always seems like the water would go out of the shower especially when it’s raining outside. Also, an elevator would be great for the guest and especially for the staff when carrying heavy luggages. The wifi spotty and could also be improved especially inside the breakfast area. A better mosquito control on the outside near the pool/restaurant area would be nice too. The people on the backyard would burn their trashes and the smoke would fill the whole air of the hotel area and would not be healthy to breathe in (I wish they wouldn’t burn right next to the hotel). This is probably nitpicking but sometimes the music that plays at the bar/restaurant area is not family friendly and uses profanity. The rooms could use a bit of feng shui or something to make it feel more spacious. The room lighting could also be improved (it always seems a little dark even with all the lights turned on).

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Nice personnel and clean rooms. Recommended.

A family room would have been perfect. 1 week environmental fee wasnt fair for a day visit.

Perfect hotel for those travelers who wish to stay closer to the main city, not to forget the exceptional service the staff provides at this hotel. Everyone was so friendly, always greeting us by our names everytime we would pass by at the front desk. Will definitely come back here in a heartbeat!

Many mosquitos in the room. not so many varieties of food for breakfast buffet. The espresso cappucino is not that good. the room pool view is small. I think the color of funny lion theme is dark black so it looks gloomy and small it attracts insects But., i love the free access to papaya beach and free fresh juices and tote bag handkerchiefs. Service staff are so friendly.

Amazing stay at Funny Lion El Nido. Couldn’t have been better. The Hotel crew is fantastic and will make you feel at home. You will not want to check-out and like to stay there for long. If you are planning El Nido, don’t look elsewhere, just stay at Funny Lion. Big shout out to Val and Team for making us feel at home !

we stayed 2 nights and it was lovely. the staff were so nice we really had a good time there. highly recommend the romantic dinner at rooftop with the sunset. the hotel is a simple but well designed one.

We had a wonderful stay at the funny lion! The entire property is clean and beautifully designed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The private beach is lovely. The only minor suggestions are to put more storage on the room. Another luggage stand and some wall hooks would make it easier to stay organized.
