One El Nido Suite recensioner

The room and cleaness all good, but trip.com and service in terms of booking is a horrible experience. IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW, STAY AWAY FROM TRIP.COM!!! This platform is one of the worst, we had a trouble with check in because hotel could not find our booking, the hotel itself is perfect but trip.com isn't. They also refused us to refund for not used night and early check-in. This should be as crime to not have a possibility to refund! Be careful where you book your hotel!

We had a good stay here, the ac in the room is not so good, but it was liveable. The breakfast was very delicious! Location is walkable to el nido center!

The hotel itself is not bad. Located near the bus station and tricycle stand, but the front view is not very welcoming. Downtown is 1.2 km away. Lobby is on the 3rd floor, rooms are spacious and amenities are OK. Breakfast is a bit weird- you have to pre select a type of breakfast and the same type is often missing ingredients. 7/10

Room was spacious, bright and calm.  Staff very helpful and efficient.  Breakfast on the roof top absolutly marvelous, eating with great view on the sea

The place looks exactly as advertised. Clean room, beddings, lobby and dining area. Breakfast is good too. Rooms are cleaned , organized daily with bottled water replenished daily. There's a water dispenser at the hallway & lobby. Also there are free massage chairs, which is a plus . Staff are very helpful always wearing a smile. Highly recommend One El Nido Suite.

It was fine for an overnight stay. Breakfast was reasonable here with tea/coffee, pastries. The front desk was not the friendliest of people & I was charged 800php for a lost key card , which I thought was pretty steep. Location was quite good as we wanted to be close to Tao Expeditions. The driver that picked us up from hotel did not help us with luggage at all, we dragged it through bumpy /rocky roads from airport to carpark and then to the hotel. Didn’t offer or lift a finger to help. But it had a great view from the breakfast roof top.

It was a nice stay, as the staff are very accommodating. And the rooms are spacious and clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Pretty clean rooms, not the best location, far from restaurants and other activities, awful entrance. Also two identical breakfasts served on one table may differ. Meat breakfast are bad as usual, only pancakes or beacon are acceptable.

The hotel was okay. Not the best, but not the worst. Staff was very hospitable, responding and polite. We did have some issues with the room (clogged sink, weak water supply from the shower head), but the staff did help a lot. Breakfast was exceptional, worth adding. The worst thing was the noise outside. There are kids playing some explosive petards at night and roosters screaming since 5 am in the morning, so it was extremely hard to sleep. And we could not sleep at all on New Year’s night because of the fireworks, so I definitely do not recommend booking this hotel during New Year holiday. But if you are a solid unbothered sleeper, you will definitely enjoy the stay 👍🏻

The staff were accommodating and welcoming . The room was really spacious and clean.

The hotel is located far enough from downtown to be quiet, and you can still walk to downtown in about 15 minutes. The room was as advertised, and clean, no surprise there, and the ocean view was simply amazing. When we returned from our day tour we noticed that the room wasn’t cleaned, and we were told “isn’t dirty you arrived yesterday”. Which to some extent was true. However, as the hotel is advised as a true 3 stars the towels could have been changed and the beds done. The second day we asked the housekeeper, put the door sign and the room was cleaned. The wifi worked very well, only when we were in the breakfast terrace, and the atrium, once we entered our room it barely worked. Speaking of the atrium that acts as a sounding board and as the bedroom door isn't soundproof at all, you will enjoy hearing everything when someone talk to the front desk, or people talking while waiting. The breakfast (6:30 to 9:30) was way below average and mostly cold, except the butter that was left on the warm without some ice around. Which explain why so many people get sick. The staff was nice and accommodating, and the housekeeper guy was very nice and helpful. Then a big thanks to the security guys who gave us very good advice on where to go and what to see around. Their best advice was to always wear the helmet as cops have the habits of waiting for you right before entering downtown. They also pointed to always park the scooter only where it’s permitted, police are patrolling and will remove any scooter that is parked off limits. Advice, always shop around for scooter rental, transfer van, cleaning service and tour, you will get a price without hotel markups. Overall, beside the breakfast and the poor wifi in room, this is a descent place to stay, but we sensed that the owner is doing cheap/minimal maintenance and sooner they will start the negative impact of doing so. Would we recommend this hotel: yes for the location and the view, not for the price though.

Had to change booking room since it did not reflect on their system. Bargained me a different room and cheaper price simply because the initial room was no longer available and since we're needing another room, they asked to lower down the initial reservation for a cheaper price for the other room.

We took a van going to El Nido from Puerto Princessa and the terminal is exactly next to the hotel which is very convenient after a long travel. The place is big and beautiful. Wifi is a bit slow so we had to use data. The food was also good.

This place is really awesome for a three star hotel in Filipino standards. The breakfast is wonderful with some changes every day rooms are spacious enough and clean hotel. Staff are very helpful. Location is good and it’s a great value.
