Kimpton Resort & Spa is pure paradise. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere invites you to slow down and soak in the beauty. The accommodations were absolutely stellar — comfortable, elegant, and perfectly in harmony with the natural surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was the honor of meeting the owner and hearing the vision and passion he and his wife share in creating this haven. Their dedication is reflected in every thoughtful detail across the property. Between the lush gardens, elegant décor, and exceptional hospitality, our stay was truly unforgettable.

What a hidden gem! I am truly stunned by the beauty and intentionality behind this incredible hotel. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the soul of Kimpton Mas Olas — a luxurious, eco-conscious haven brought to life by the marvelous couple, Lisa and Bill Moore. Every detail, from the architecture inspired by Luis Barragán to the respectful preservation of endemic plants, cacti, and trees, reflects a deep love for nature and thoughtful design. Being here feels like entering a cocoon — safe, serene, and deeply connected to the environment it protects. The food is absolutely out of this world! Grown mostly on-site and prepared with care, it nourishes both body and spirit. Even more inspiring is their commitment to giving back to the local community through donations and sustainable practices. What sets Mas Olas apart isn’t just the setting or the design — it’s the people. Every single member of the team, from the gardeners to the spa therapists and the owners themselves, exudes warmth, mindfulness, and a shared dedication to creating a space of peace, harmony, and reconnection. I could go on, but truly — you have to experience it for yourself. Thank you, Lisa and Bill, for your generosity and for redefining what a conscious luxury resort can and should be. I cannot say enough good things about this resort. From check in to checking out, everything was amazing. We stayed in a penthouse suite with a plunge pool on the terrace. It was wonderful. The grounds were simply stunning. From the gardens to spa pool, everything was done with such care and thought. Every morning, we would wake up to a bag outside our door with fresh fruit, a pastry, and bottles of water. Then we would head to our breakfast where Jonathan took care of us. He was absolutely the best. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. Dinner was incredible at every restaurant and the 11:11 dinner was well worth it. I highly recommend trying it! We will be going back here again and certainly not soon enough.

This resort was OUTSTANDING in every way. Attentive and friendly staff. Impeccable grounds. The room was freaking FANTASTIC, especially the patio that comes with blankets to handle the ocean breezes. This is the perfect adults only resort, peaceful and relaxing, tucked away from everything else. You’ll receive a light snack left at your door every morning in case you want to stay in vs go to breakfast. If you love nature, you’ll enjoy spending time in the botanical garden filled with so many species of birds and foliage. The spa was great also and the massage therapists THE BEST. I love Latin music genres and so my only wish was that they honor Latin culture throughout the resort and play Latin music in ALL of their dining establishments. Latin music and culture is beautiful so showcase it. I don’t choose to travel to another country to hear American music, but this is just my personal preference. Despite this, I will come back!

One of our top 5 vacations ever! I cannot say enough about how amazing our visit was. We’ve been to this property 5 times and it keeps getting better. So relaxing, beautiful, natural and frankly delicious! We cannot wait to go back. Love to Armando, Augustine, Jonathan, chef Sandro and Andrea at the spa. What a magical stay we just had at Mas Olas. I almost don't want to bring attention to this hidden gem because it was so peaceful and magical. What a beautiful resort, amazing staff, incredible food and outstanding spa/gym. Also, the gardens that surround this property are absolutely magical. We went for four nights for a quiet and relaxing couples getaway without our young son. It was exactly that. If you are looking for noise and nightlife, this is not your place. But if you are looking for outstanding food, spa, pool and relaxation, then look no further.
