Blue Fish Hotel

This hotel certainly does not cater for English, as said I'm previous reviews. Arrived @ 22.15 and asked where we could eat, Reception said they would give us a packed lunch 😕 I really wish I had taken a photo of it , We were handed 2 paper bags containing -2 pre packed cakes - small carton of peach juice and small carton of water. Husband laughed and thought our 2 X4 yr old granddaughters had put them together. Room clean but dated, no issues we don't spend time in it to worry about decor, however we did get bit while in bed , this is concerning as we never get bit and we travel 2/3 times a year the bites have turned quite nasty. The hotel has nothing around it (nowhere to eat in walkable distance) only a couple of tacky shops. However buses are easy and cheap to go either way. Food is the worst food I've ever encountered even in a 3* this was inedible, also the fact nothing was labelled so you didn't know what you were eating and everything was cold. I really thought I was going to eat something when the barbecue came out, to be sadly disappointed, Yes it was hot but raw uncooked once bitten into. I couldn't even have toast for breakfast as there was no toaster 🤣. Entertainment - Nothing in English, kids disco in polish/russian. Then just piped music all evening. There was no sunbed situation you could get one anytime round the pool. This was a cheap last minute booking basically just for a bit of sunshine. So would we do it again? Well I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this as it certainly is not 4* and I'm so glad I didn't have the children with us as it would have been difficult for them. No I would not go back to this hotel as it turned out more expensive than we anticipated to eat out and travelling each day, but I did manage to get a week of relaxed sunshine.

One of the best hotels I have been to in Turkey/ Alanya by far. Staff are so friendly and will treat you like family. Entertainment is perfect for adults and kids- Entertainment for all ages. Cleaning staff, bartenders, Chefs, reception all perfect. no complants... Shout out to gülbahar, Charlie, Atakan and Ms Hava for giving me and my family the best service

The hotel is incredibly beautiful. The food is very good. We had a great Time. I would especially like to thanks gulbahar animator she took great care of the children her energy is very nice i recommend the hotel to everyone thanks everyone See you again 🥰❤️🏊

This is a small simple hotel with good location and lovely family atmosphere. It's not a palace of marble with shining tablecloths and thousand different meals a day, but it's a place where you feel everyone cares about you and is ready to help you at any time. The beach is wonderful, much better than most beaches in Alanya, if you want to go sightseeing, shopping or booking a cruise on a pirate ship, local bus will take you to Konakli or Alanya in 20 minutes for 1$. If you just want to have a rest and stay in the hotel, you will probably meet many interesting people, be amazed by the wonderful evening programme, or pleasantly relaxed by a professional massage (greetings to Sara 😘). Don't expect more than what you've paid for, be respectful and you'll get much for free.

Bad points staff didn't understand English on reception very difficult to communicate problems and their was many Food is based on Russian and Polish guests every English guest couldn't eat the breakfast or evening meal buffet while we where there Entertainment very poor to non existent played terrible loud repetitive Russian techno music all day Photos on hotel website very old hotel very dated Tables by bar always sticky never cleaned properly Restaurant table cloths filthy just turned over Good points Our room was clean if dated Pool was excellent Lunch food kept you going chips and flat bread at pool terrace but we were desperate Hotel set up for Russian guests I would personally never return Hope this helps I've tried to be generous but it was very very hard

Avoid this place at all costs. First day there I had to complain as the sun beds under the tree were covered in bird muck (hadn't been cleaned for ages). Apart from one night where they did chicken kebab, which were good, the evening meals are of little choice and very bland. The food is catered for Germans, Eastern Europe as it's lots of processed meat and cheese for breakfast and the same for lunch. The all inclusive for drinks is simply wine, 3 spirits and beer mainly served in warm glasses,
