The staff were nice and check-in was quick.The bathroom floors had not been mopped in a while. The room was spacious worth plenty of lighting. The bed was comfortable, but the 2 pillows were too flat for sleeping. I was glad I had brought my own pillow.

One of the best budget motels ever!
This is a great budget motel. The room on Route 66 is just what you want. Comfortable bed, VERY clean room, and great hot water in the shower.

Easy and fast checkin. Microwave didnt work, but i was to tired after a 10 hour drive to have it switched out. Chain was broken on the door and when I took a shower, the water had to be all way to hot to get a warm shower. It was ok cause all I did was sleep and go. If I stayed a couple days, I would not have been satisfied

My wife and I stay in Ely City twice a year. We previously stayed elsewhere, but that place had become run down and tired. The manager also became rude and nasty. Time to find a different place. We tried the Flamingo Inn and we've been coming back every year. The place is filled with route 66 charm. It is clean and the manager pleasant. It is also much cheaper than where we had been staying. My wife and I are looking forward in staying here for years to come.

Pros and cons
The bathroom was clean, it was private and quiet. The rug and walls were stained— the towels and sheets were ripped and stained as well. But I felt safe and it was worth the price.

The room is extremely outdated and smelly. Sheets didn’t look cleaned. Really unsure how this hotel got a very good rating. Desperately needs updating and deep cleaned. Won’t stay again.

This was a great economical spot for a quick nights stay on a road trip.
Room was clean, I like the old motor lodges where you can park directly in front of the room.
It’s definitely not a resort so don’t expect high end, but it was perfect for my needs.
Cool Route 66 and local history museum about a mile up the road and plenty of fast food options. And a grocery store nearby
