Ellas Edge Resort

We stayed at Ella’s Edge for 2 nights. The views from the shower have to be seen to be believed! The rooms are clean and spacious. The chef prepared an amazing selection of vegetable curries for our dinner and the breakfast was equally terrific. We got up at 5.30am to go and see the sunrise at Little Adam’s Peak. Also amazing. 10/10 recommended staying here.

Its a good place Clean room and bathroom nice environment staff is very friendly and helpful . Room is bit small thats the minus point i have to give otherwise everything is perfect for the price ,, À la carte dishes bit higher price but delicious

Stayed here through travel company, room smelly, balcony with trees right in front of us, mosquitos everywhere Had breakfast and 16 hours later both of us vomiting and diarrhea, definitely from breakfast as only thing we both ate the same, avoid

Resort with good views , located just outside Ella town , Rooms are spacious, but needs some renovations for bathrooms . they have a decent restaurant serving buffet with moderate spread and decent food. staff was courteous . Overall a decent place

Super place with great views. The lower rooms have great views but keeping the curtains open means losing privacy, however the rooms on the top have no such issue but same great view. The staff is courteous and helpful. The breakfast is moderate in terms of spread.

Nice hotel. Nice room + good view. Food in hotel is average but if you walk up the small hill opposite side of main road, there is nice home cafe... Rooms are with air conditioning and fan. Didn't see any monkeys but we were warned against leaving our balcony door open.

breathtaking scenery. Staff trying to be helpful but service is mediocre, bathroom and toilets including the public area certainly need cleaning. This is not about lack of resources, but carelessness which is a shame.

Nestled in the charming town of Ella, this accommodation offers a convenient and easily accessible retreat for travelers. We opted for the Superior double room, a spacious haven with two warm and comfortable beds. Good sound proofing as well. The bed sheets and towels were clean, and the room came well-equipped with a minibar stocked with few beverages, an electric kettle, and a hairdryer. Tea, coffee, sugar bags, and water bottles were also provided. While the AC functioned well, there were minor issues with the heat mode (head some noises). Moving to the bathroom, it was tidy, with a few pieces of soap and shampoo available. ⚠️ The Jacuzzi had a crack, and the water we filled for the first time was brownish, so we had to flush that away. Its water pump worked efficiently, providing a comfortable experience with hot water. For dinner, we enjoyed Seafood noodles and Chicken soup, both served hot and bursting with delicious flavors. The roasted bread complemented the soup perfectly. ⚠️ Despite a power cut during the night, attempts to contact the staff were unsuccessful (left a message at night), and the issue persisted into the morning (called to the provided mobile and land-line phone numbers but none of them worked). Anyway, after being physically informed, the power was restored. The morning, however, brought a breathtaking view from the room, offering a wide and panoramic spectacle of the surroundings. It provided an excellent opportunity for capturing stunning photos ❤️. We saw the lovely Kithal Ella Falls from the side as well. Opting for a Sri Lankan breakfast, we were treated to a delightful spread at the restaurant, where the view continued to impress. The meal included fruit juice, roasted bread with butter and jam, milk rice and dosa with Sri Lankan curries, and pancakes. Complementary milk and plain tea with sugar were also offered. In summary, our stay was a great experience and worth the price, with delicious food and an amazing view. The staff was helpful and remarkably informative. ⚠️ However, there's room for improvement in communication, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms.

It has an amazing view from rooms. Rooms were very clean and arranged nicely. Food was delicious. Staff were so helpful and attentive. Specially, Dinesh and Kasun made us feel home with their service. They arranged transport for us from hotel to sightseeing since we came in train (Ella Odyssey) We'll definitely come back to stay at "Ella's Edge".
