59B Rest Inn Ella recensioner

A no frills guest house located at the end of the main street with a steep slope to reach the house. Uncle Aruna served me with nice tea everyday and gave me tips to explore Ella. Thank you Uncle Aruna for hosting me

Good for value. The location is very good, it’s at end of the town, convenient to go hiking and the restaurants. It’s quiet at night. The room is very clean. The owner is friendly. He gave us a pot of tea to welcome us when we arrive. Also he provided us the bus schedule information and advices for the time in Ella. It will better if there is a kettle so we can try Ceylon tea we bought.

We were welcomed by the owner with a lovely pot of tea following a 7 hour road journey, so this was just what we needed. 59B is in a good location just off the main high street, meaning it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Ella. We only spent 1 night here and it was more than adequate for our group of four adults. Its centrally located meaning we could walk to Ella train station to catch our train to Kandy without having to use a taxi/tuktuk. Ella itself is a great town and we wish we had allowed ourselves an extra day to soak up the happy atmosphere generated by all the various tourists.

This accommodation is perfect. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed our stay very much. The room is big, the bathroom has hot water and everything was very clean. The house is situated in a quiet street but in the centre, close to many restaurants. The house has a very nice garden and the best thing is the family. They are really lovely, they gave us a lot of information and they will make you feel at home. I highly recommend this place if you come to Ella.

Amazing place. It was the second time for us that we stayed here. The accomodation is perfect, clean rooms and a perfect bathroom. Sitting outside in de garden is lovely, lots of birds are coming to the garden. The breakfast was delicious. With a few minutes you are in the town with lots of restaurants. We visit the nine arch bridge, mini Adams peak. Its also a great place when you want to visit Ella rock.
