Holiday Inn Express Emei Mountain recensioner

Hotel is just 5 mins walk from bus terminal. Breakfast is not grand but with sufficient selection including some local specialities. Room came with clothes hanger in balcony for you to dry your clothes after washing. Fuss free check in and check out.

Great location for Emeishan visit. Would recommend to friends and stay if we are coming back to visit.

Our children enjoyed swimming in the hot pool and had a nice and big meal in the morning buffet.

Many thanks and praises to Ms. Fanny, the front desk lady who checked us in. She followed all the standardized procedure and dialogue, showing that she was properly trained and was very mindful of her tasks. Despite not speaking much English, she was very helpful and informative as she went so far as to use an electronic translator from her phone to describe everything in details for me and answer all of my questions. Above all, her manner and facial expression were very well trained as she never once showed a sign of frustration when I asked her many questions and she smiled all the time, a phenomenon that I hardly experience or see in China (as most local staff usually have cold or indifferent facial expressions and do not seem to be too active in receiving guests). The hotel itself is decent enough, with a few warm pools as the highlight that let us wind down after a tiring day. Breakfast was abundant and delicious at this price range. I would stay here again if I returned to Emeishan.

Location is fantastic, walking distance to the visitor centre. There ate food options around the hotel. The room is standard size, bed are comfortable. Toilet smell can he improved with air fresher or diffuser. It smelled of mould.

Great location and free room upgrade for certain tier members. Friendly staff and breakfast included, as well as all the kinds of amenities. There were even three pairs of shower slippers for different sized feet! Would stay again when visiting Emeishan

A bit far to town. Near to the station to emei mountain. Few shops around hotel area. Overall ok to stay. Hotel has free hot spring and children playing area.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, lovely kids’ playgrounds, clean room and hot springs, beautiful territory of the hotel. What made me very disappointed about the stay: we were given a room without balcony right above the main entrance. All the night the cars were coming and going, all the morning the buses were on and the smell went to the room. It was very annoying and noisy. Sure it was too late at night to go to the front desk and ask to change a room. I suppose the front desk should be more attentive when choosing a room for families especially when the hotel is not fully booked like now. So if you are lucky to get a quiet room with hot springs view, it still can be a good hotel in Emeishan.

The location is good. It is very near to the tourists center which easily for us to buy tickets to Emeishan. Surrounded hotel walking distance has many eateries. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed staying here. reception and the service was great. the room was nice and clean and big enough. I would definitely stay again. there are a few restaurants around we ate at the one below two days in a row that we were there. its more of a family hotel but its tolerable. there's a glamping place across the gorge to relax? we liked it. the place to get tickets to the mountain (tourism center) is right across the main road which is 5 mins walk. very convenient

an absolute delight to be there. There is an outdoor hot spring that is such a gem in cold weather. Otherwise the rooms are big and clean. The receptionists are also helpful in explaining the route we can take. They also extended our check out so that we can go up emei Shan in the morning and be back in good time to check out! Excellent !
