2 Friends Beach Hotel

We recently stayed five nights between our two safaris (2 at beginning, 2 between, 1 after). The staff, Oliva, Florence, Claire, Diana and others were so helpful from the first time I contacted them until we left. It was a great place to stay with comfortable rooms and a great location, an easy safte 10 minute walk to the mall to purchase items in a very well-stocked grocery/dry goods store and to exchange dollars for Ugandan shillings. Pickup and drop off at the Entebbe Airport (15 minutes away) was provided at no charge. They arranged to have some laundry done for us and we could not believe how inexpensive it was and quickly returned within a few hours. While on both safaris, we were able to leave our extra baggage at the hotel. They have a very satisfactory restaurant on the water but the food is cooked in the hotel's kitchen and transported across the street. Tip: be sure to be seated about an hour before you want to eat, as the kitchen is small. And I cannot end without mentioning Patrick, who makes sure everything is running smoothly. He is an engaging person and you should set some time aside to chat with him. We had one hiking boot suffer some damage on the first safari and he arranged to have a repair done quickly. Patrick and the entire staff are all ambassadors for this wonderful country. I wish more places were like 2 Friends and I highly recommend them.

Stayed here a week ago, wonderful welcome, room was gorgeous, whole hotel had fabulous local art around it. Patrick was very friendly, informative and funny! We had lunch and dinner sat alongside Lake Victoria, fish with lemon grass was superb! Lovely breakfast in the hotel dining room. We used their airport collection service and were greeted as we came out. Highly recommend this hotel.

2Friends Beach Hotel was the perfect lakeside escape! Located right on the shores of Lake Victoria, this hotel offered a peaceful and beautiful setting that felt like a true getaway. The rooms were clean, cozy, and stylish, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the balcony views and the relaxing vibe throughout the hotel. Whether you're looking to relax after traveling or just enjoy some time by the water, 2Friends Beach Hotel is the place to be. We loved every moment and would definitely stay again!

Given that the hotel didn’t have many guests, I would think they could have put me in a better room than the view of the parking lot. Their rate is much higher than the hotel next door, which I have stayed at several times. For a quick overnight, I will likely pick another option and save money.

Absolutely a little gem of a hotel in Entebbe. It sits 40 meters from the shores of lake Victoria with a restaurant literally kissing the water. The atmosphere here is warm friendly and welcoming with a staff that loves their job. The food is delicious and it’s only 15 minutes by car to the airport. Can highly recommend this hotel
