Premier Inn Epsom Central

Hotel is in very poor condition, awaiting renovation according to sign on a post outside in car park Room was clean, bed very good, bathroom a disgrace with bolts where a handle should be on the bath which was dangerous, hooks on bathroom door broken Room set up for one occupant, despite booking for two, one comfortable armchair only, one set of towels, this has happened to us at other Premier Inns Convenient location for our needs

DO NOT STAY HERE! The worst premier inn we have ever stayed in. This hotel is old and very run down. The outside shows how old this building is. Entering inside is just as bad. Mould in our room around window and ceiling. Bathroom is very old and disgusting with the shower fan noisy all night long so no sleep. The room stinks of toilet as the sink brain was not working well.The tv on the wall was clicking all night. Only one side bed side table in a double bed room. DO NOT STAY HERE

Booked into an accessible room but front of the building and car park is not great for wheelchairs.The building is quite narrow to navigate. Our door didn't lock from the inside,there was no dispenser for tiolet roll supplied,we were given one towel for 3 people.The curtains had holes as well as the duvet cover,very tatty.

The hotel and eating area felt tired and in need of attention. The beds were not ready in our room when we checked in and the guy in reception had to sort (it felt that he was the only staff, having to do everything). It felt a very poor experience compared to other Premier Inn’s we’ve stayed in. But the location and car parking facility was good. Happy we only paid £65 for B&B - wouldn’t be worth paying much more.

Don’t bother staying here - shabby dirty hotel - no heating - mould in bedroom & disgusting bath plug - shower curtain track falling off wall. Heater in room not working. All communal areas in hoovered Thyme restaurant for breakfast - coffee machine not working - staff not interested

You pretty much know what you’re going to get with a Premier Inn, very decent accommodation, often in a decent location and for a reasonable cost, and Epsom Central is no exception. Location wise, this cannot be beat. Epsom is a small town and Premier Inn is right in the centre but in a sort of off street “back” location. All the bars and restaurants are in a very easy and fast walk. Possibly with being off the main street it’s exceptionally quiet (but Epsom isn’t really a rowdy town anyway). Cleanliness wise, the room and bathroom were spotless, the cleaners can be commended. Check in is as expected. Didn’t bother with the breakfast as I’m an early riser so can’t comment. Only downside is that the parking isn’t great, no dedicated (two for blue badge holders though which is good) and the very nearby car park is a chore to get in due to one way system. Not very cheap but council owned and about expected. Beds as always are awesome. Only real criticism is that the heating/cooling system has a fan going all the time and not obvious how to control it, it’s a minor thing but for someone wanting silence it’s not good. Might be a way of silencing it but I didn’t ask as wasn’t too fussed. Definitely recommend.
