Aquana Beach Resort

It’s a beautiful resort still recovering from the cyclone aftermath. You can still see the destruction that was caused by the cyclone around you. But, my kids and us had a blast. Don’t expect luxury or a cheap vacation, it’s Vanuatu. It’s pristine… sooo beautiful. Best beaches in the world. Resort provided us free snorkeling tours near to the resort, that was awesome. They took us for village tours. There was dance show and fire show. We brought loads of snacks and 2 minutes noodles. Nature at its best ! beautiful vacation !!! There were lot of Star fish around… we did take photos with them, but only when we were moving the stranded ones from sand to Ocean. Please treat them responsibly. At times, I Wished Nannie’s had some more enthusiasm as we had better experience with kids club in Fiji resorts. They could do more fun and games with the kids. Fabian at the reception was exceptional. Very very helpful. But remember “Vanuatu is an expensive destination for tourists” Bring your own snorkeling gear and life jacket for kids. We did do kayaking at the resort, but there were only 2 of them.. used first come first serve basis.

We recently spent 10 days with our whole family - 6 adults and 4 children aged 4-9. Aquana was perfect in all ways. A small, authentic resort with only 16 bungalows. The nannies are amazing - quietly around the resort watching over the children in the pool, taking them on walks, doing colouring and showing them how to weave baskets, bracelets etc. They quickly got to know names and preferences. For the adults - time to play with the children or let them be entertained by the nannies while having a stress free relaxation or massages at the spa. The food ,while a limited menu, was excellent and beautifully prepared, and as we had vegetarians, options were provided for them also. The staff were wonderful - it was so nice to see so many from the local village working there and we were able to visit the village in the company of one of the staff. The bungalows were comfortable, clean and with 2 bedrooms and a large lounge, roomy. We loved every minute. The manager was so helpful when we wanted to do activities outside the resort and transport was arranged to suit us. It was a fabulous family holiday.

I travel through the south pacific to discover new places and I liked it here. I stayed some time ago and really enjoyed it, good location, nice and peaceful and the food is nice. I liked Vanuatu in general

Tout est parfait dans cet hôtel : - un cadre magnifique (mer, plage, îlot, immense piscine) - une situation parfaite (a l’écart du brouhaha de la ville et proche du trou bleu et d eton beach). - des activités gratuites (fléchette, trampoline, canoë, visite de village traditionnel) - gratuit: des super Nanie pour s occuper quand vous le souhaitez de vos petits et grands enfants. - une nourriture raffiné - des cocktails délicieux - un personnel aux petits soins - des gérants toujours à votre écoute - des bungalow spacieux et agréable (clim) Vous l’aurez compris , nous on est tombé amoureux et on y retournera .
