Braunis Horio Villas

We stayed at Villa Prikonas. It was beautiful. Clean, stylish decor, fully equipped kitchen (though a few extra implements would have been useful). Views were just amazing. Assos is a great little village, it has a small beach, motor boats for hire, good places to eat and there's a bakery and two good mini markets if you want to cook yourself. It's a steep walk back up to the villa, but the private infinity pool makes the effort worthwhile! I did find the A/C in the bedroom was a bit draughty, but just leaving the main one downstairs on overnight did the trick. It would be too hot to sleep without it. Be aware the road down to Assos has first-gear hairpin bends, but it's fine, just take it easy! Couldn't recommend this villa more highly, we had a wonderful relaxing stay.

As a family of 5 (including both younger & teenage children), we stayed in villa Akrogiali for a fortnight and were absolutely delighted. As other people have said, the views from these villas were breathtaking, we spent plenty of time just gazing out to sea or admiring the passing sailing boats. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful - the pool, outside area and of course villa itself were all cleaned on a daily basis. Everything in the villa was in great condition, everything worked, we even had reasonable wifi (not that we needed it) and the outside area was great - every meal was eaten outdoors and on a hot day we had the shade of a day bed to keep cool when not in the ample pool. Assos itself has a few reasonably well stocked shops including the local bakery which we frequented almost daily for fresh bread and delicious treats, the other shops also stocked meat, veg, fruit etc - we only shopped elsewhere a couple of times in 2 weeks. There are also a good selection of restaurants and the cheeky monkeys food hut that serve delicious Souvlaki wraps. We would highly recommend these villas and I am sure we will return one day.

This is our sixth stay here, so thought it was about time I submitted a review of these stunning villas in the beautiful village of Assos. We are working our way through all the villas! Our first was Prikonas with our then 2 teenage kids. Beautiful 2 bedroom villa with stunning views! The following year we stayed in Akrogiali. This time we brought my parents as well so there were six of us. The villa was spacious inside and out, plenty big enough for us all. Again beautiful with stunning Views of the Harbour! The following year we stayed at the highest villa called Agapi. ( I think this is my favourite)! This is a two bedroom villa with incredible panoramic views of the sea, harbour and also the village. We have Stayed here twice. We have just come back from our second stay at Eleni. It has an infinity pool overlooking the harbour. You have to pinch yourself just to remind you that you are not dreaming looking at the views! We were joined by our kids, (now in their late twenty’s)!and partners. We have already been told by them that we have to return next year and indeed every year! (maybe one year they will treat us?) Many thanks to Katerina and the amazing team, especially Corina, the amazing housekeeper who has been looking after us most years. We now consider her to be a friend. The only drawback staying here is that you never want to leave to explore this beautiful island and if you do, you can’t wait to come back!
