Hotel S'Antiga Adults Only

An excellent hotel in every way. Their attention to detail was noticeable throughout the hotel. Breakfast was superb with high quality produce & beautifully presented. Everywhere was immaculately clean, very comfortable & a relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful experience and we look forward to returning.

We booked this hotel for a short break in Menorca as it was an adults only and we wanted a quiet, relaxed break. We weren’t too sure what to expect as it was in a central location. When we arrived we found the hotel situated on a quiet street with no parking however there is a free public carpark a couple of minutes walk away. We were greeted by Tomeu, who immediately makes you feel welcome. Tomeu checked us in and as we were on a short break, took the time to and explain different restaurants and places we could visit on the island during our time and mark the locations on a map. We greatly appreciated this, and we visited several of the locations he suggested during our stay. The hotel provides a homely feel. Ester and all the staff are lovely and friendly and as you’d expect from a small boutique hotel it is immaculate. Our room was on the ground floor opposite the reception area; we couldn’t find fault with the room. Rooms are cleaned daily and we happened to return while staff were in our room and witnessed the staff moving the furniture to ensure the room was thoroughly cleaned. The Hotel offers a lovely continental breakfast with fresh juice and the option of eggs cooked to your preference. Overall we really enjoyed our short stay at Hotel S’Antiga and would definitely look to stay here again if/when we return to Menorca. We have to give special thanks Tomeu who offers excellent customer service and is a credit to Ester and S’Antiga.

Absolutely stunning place. The attention to detail was incredible. We spent our 20th wedding anniversary here for 4 nights. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was very nice and fresh with traditional Spanish food. The beds were super comfy. So peaceful and relaxing. The pool area was beautiful, a little chilly but I still went in! So close to the town centre literally a minute walk. Could easily of stayed longer!

On arrival we were welcomed very warmly by Tomeu who gave us lots of info on places of interest, and he was a very kind man, with a great disposition! We felt we had made the right choice to be staying at this hotel for 4 nights for my Birthday! Our room was superb, beautiful decor and very comfortable! Every thing is top quality, towels, bedding and toiletries! The hotel is pristine! Unfortunately the breakfast was not up to scratch, we were never told that they had an Egg Menu! So on our third day to our surprise we saw another guest who was given an omelette by the owner, cooked in a pan with butter! We were shocked as we were not offered this service! When we did order the Omelette the next day it was cooked in the microwave!! I felt the owner was not happy that we requested Omelettes, felt very uncomfortable from then on, at one point while she was chatting, I was waiting to get some milk and she totally ignored me, I didn’t expect her to drop everything, but just to have acknowledged me would have been nice! The fruit bowl had two bananas for 3 days, so soft and black! Our last day one new green banana was put out! The strawberries were moldy and so soft, the Melon was soggy and very soft and translucent! One small pot of jam refilled, that I took, never had it again as it wasn’t put out! It seems that the same produce is put out everyday till it has been eaten or is inedible! It would be better to charge extra for breakfast than be so tight with everything! Some produce was local as advertised other items were from Mercadona! Serviettes not on tables you had to go and find them! The owner seemed obsessed with putting the cutlery on the table with precision, and plumping up the cushions, but sadly the breakfast was not as appetising refilled or precise! I didn’t expect it but it would have been nice to have been wished a happy birthday, they knew we were there for my day! Never encountered this before! To sum it up, stay at the Hotel as it’s beautifully appointed, in a lovely village, but don’t expect breakfast to be top notch! We were never asked if we liked the Hotel or enjoyed our stay! On leaving we pointed out to Tomeu that they need to let guests know they have an Egg Menu, he seemed to smile, perhaps knowing that it isn’t offered to all guests! Maybe it is a way of cutting costs that’s how we felt, the same as with the fresh produce! Unfortunately we would never return or recommend!

Ester and her family have created oasis of perfection in S’Antiga - from the tranquility of the dining and lounge area with its quietly tasteful background playlist to the beautiful courtyard pool area, everything is ‘just so’. Buffet breakfasts are excellent - fresh organic fruit, cheese, eggs, meats and croissants, homemade cake, several kinds of bread, the very freshest of coffee. Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful general manager, Tomeu: he has a wealth of knowledge about the island and went to enormous lengths to make sure we were looked after, greeting us in the early hours when our flight was delayed on arrival and sorting out the best deals for car hire. We had a thoroughly wonderful week and can’t recommend S’Antiga highly enough. Go while you can!!

L'accueil de très grande qualité, personnalisé, sympathique, attentionné. Une très belle décoration, soignée, cosy. Une propreté irréprochable, la literie est très confortable, rien ne manquait dans la chambre et une bouteille d'eau est à disposition chaque jour. Le petit déjeuner est très bien présenté avec des produits frais délicieux. En rentrant de balade, des mignardises sont offertes chaque jour. Un régal ! L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Minorque. Un parking est à 2 pas. De nombreux restaurants variés nous permettent de rester sur place en soirée et de découvrir l'ambiance de Es Mercadal. Nous gardons cette très belle adresse pour un prochain séjour.
