La Pina Verde

We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut – calm, comfortable, and full of smart details that just make sense. The shower was excellent, and the AC was freezing cold – perfect after a hot day. What really makes the place, though, is Martin and Victoria. They’re present in the best way. They’re warm, helpful, and easy to talk to, without ever being overbearing. Delicious breakfast. You can tell they care about what they’ve built, and it shows in everything. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

What an absolutely beautiful oasis of calm and tranquillity, set in truly lovely gardens. My husband stayed here for several nights as it was close by to the hospital I was in, but I stayed the final night. The accommodation was a brand new Shepherd's hut which was set in the garden, complete with superbly comfortable mattress and excellently laid out with more space than you would think. The shower is huge and powerful, with lovely toiletries. There is also plenty of cupboard space. A coffee machine is provided with pods. Breakfast is fabulous with eggs of your choice after freshly squeezed orange juice and selection of fruits and yogurt with muesli. I had a Tupperware box of this delivered each day to the hospital and it was so very, very tasty! The hosts- Martin and Viktoria are extremely friendly, and knowledgeable on the area and restaurants to visit. They are incredibly helpful for any help regarding flights/taxis etc. The hotel is a little tricky to find but Martin and Viktoria are very good at directions. Both speak excellent English (Martin being English) and just want you to have a fabulous holiday. We would highly recommend.
