Hotel ligt net buiten de oude stadsmuren zodat de oude stad met gemak per voet te verkennen is. Er is een ondergronds garage waar gasten gebruik van kunnen maken. faciliteiten zijn goed en het ontbijt is redelijk, maar enigszins beperkt door weinig personeel.
Het belangrijkste pluspunt vonden wij is het personeel - een team van aardige en zeer behulpzame jonge mensen. Op wat wij ook vroegen werd meteen en positief gereageerd.
Al met al een uitstekende startpunt om Evora en de omgeving te verkennen.

Comodidades pouco insonorizadas. Haviam muitas famílias com crianças, inclusive a fazerem uma festa de aniversário no pateo do hotel, e mesmo de janela fechada se ouvia tudo.
Em termos de staff e condições do quarto, muito simpáticos e agradáveis. Apenas as almofadas podiam ser mais confortáveis (muito grandes e altas).

The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Every person would go out of their way to get us anything we needed. Very kind and attentive. The beds were comfortable, rooms very clean, modern looking, breakfast was incredible, rooms soundproofed, water pressure was excellent and very hot. The only reason I could not give 5 stars was the pool was torn up and closed but no notice was given before check in. I don't think a hotel should advertise something that is unavailable and not say something. Also the heat in the room would not go above 22 degrees no matter how high we programmed it and there was no conditioner (for long hair that's no fun to brush after washing). We would definitely stay here again. For the price it's an incredible experience.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights in January, and although we didn’t have access to the pool during the off season, the rest of the hotel was wonderful. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, trendy style, secure parking, excellent location, and fair rates made this the perfect hotel for us in Evora.

We really wanted to like this property. It has so much potential. However it seemed like the property was under remodel. In our room there were no hooks for our towels and the shower door didn’t close, so water got all over. Plus the bathroom floor was very dirty. It needed to be moped. The second morning for breakfast was not good. The coffee machine and toaster did not work. The person working didn’t do anything to help. That was frustrating considering that we had to pay extra for the breakfast.

Nice and cozy hotel. Loved the decor and theme. Loved the pictures of The cante singing. Loved Évora. The front-office managed gave me great tips for sightseeing, restaurants.Great food, wine, cheese. All from Alentejo. Very friendly staff. Quiet place.

I stayed in Évora O Cante for three nights during business travel. I had a nice big spacious room on the first floor, with a view over the pool - which was nicely available late September for a refeshing dip. Arriving from Lisbon by car, the location is perfect: easy to reach and with an underground garage at no extra cost - a bit tight, though, but manageable, right next to old town to go out by foot. I enjoy breakfast, when travelling, here it was a treat with good selection of familiar courses and local specialties, nicely presented, putting you through to an active day.

This is the perfect hotel for a couple of chilled day’s exploring Évora. Our room was lovely and spacious with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with rain shower. We had a view over the pool and the balcony was great for sitting on in the evening. The pool area itself is small and was very quiet when we were there. Breakfast was great with a good choice available - my only small issue is that there was no soya/dairy free yogurt. We had a hire car that we were able to park in the hotels free underground garage. Getting into town was very easy and was just a 5min walk away
