Weeke Barton was quirky, fascinating and beautiful. Sam & Jo made us feel very welcome and relaxed. The choice of breakfast was really good, especially the homemade muesli. Our room was beautiful The area is great for anyone that enjoys walking. Definitely 10/10

Weeke Barton is in the most fabulous location overlooking the valley. Our hosts shared brilliant tips for local walks and places to visit. The breakfast was superb. Our room was very comfortable with beautiful views. I would definitely recommend Week Barton.

Weeke Barton is a lovely small, 6 bedroom hotel. Sam & Jo are delightful hosts very willing to help and offer advice and they provide great breakfasts! The hotel is in the middle of very rural Devon, a short drive from Dartmoor so you definitely need a car, (although taxis are available to take you to and from the pub for dinner) but it's super quiet and peaceful.

A beautiful country property, with wonderful country views and a lovely historic ambiance. The breakfast was amazing, the beds incredibly comfortable and the showers warm and welcoming. A lot of thought has gone into every detail and the love and care and creates a beautiful country experience.

Bank holiday weekend with the extended family - Weeke Barton was perfect. 6 x en-suite rooms, plenty of living space with cosy nooks if you wanted. Bedrooms were well appointed and apportioned. The layout worked perfectly allowing the younger family members at one end of the house allowing the less young a quieter morning. The kitchen is large and well equipped and in the dining room there’s a table big enough to sit 12. Outside is lovely - sitting areas, fire pit (we didn’t use) BBQ. We did enjoy cricket on the artificial wicket! A lovely place to stay and we would recommend

We really enjoyed Weeke Barton when our 13 family members stayed to celebrate a birthday. The house is well appointed with six very comfortable en-suite rooms. The kitchen is extremely well equipped as are the Bar, Sitting Room and Dining Room. There is also a dining suite on the terrace, a barbeque and fire pits for outside catering and other garden furniture for relaxing. The large grounds with tiered areas and a small stream offered the chance to relax, unwind and enjoy the company.

We only stayed for one night for our daughter’s graduation in Exeter. It truly is a special place, just stunning scenery, quirky, yet very luxurious room with bedding that is just divine. So lovely to have a bath, and hospitality was great. You feel like you are staying with distant relatives, and the owners clearly want you to have a good time. I loved their green philosophy and commitment to using local produce. Breakfast was delicious and we were so grateful that Jo was able to accommodate an earlier time setting for us. The honesty bar is a lovely touch but quite expensive, I get why they have to charge those prices and Jo kindly explained why when I asked in an email. Just check the price list before you help yourself to drinks (we didn’t.) It didn’t spoil anything, we loved staying there, just something to be aware of before you imbibe!! I bought some of their granola, absolutely delicious!! I’d like to have stayed longer, you feel like you are in a retreat, and I imagine there are some lovely local walks.

Rooms were beautiful, a super recce before hiring the entire house in July 😃 ~ absolutely cannot wait! Slept so well (unlike me!) and breakfast was just divine. Plenty of choice on the menu and all served hot. Sam & Jo were just the perfect hosts - looked after us very well - honestly go as you will not be disappointed and you will be booking your return, guaranteed!

This is a truly special place. My partner and I fell in love with Weeke Barton from the moment we walked in, and were very sad to leave four days later. From the outstanding dinner and the lovely breakfasts to the gorgeous rooms and cozy bar, every detail of the property is perfect. The hosts are very kind and helpful with local recommendations. We cannot wait to return!
