酒店環境很美，設施很不錯，房間裏的咖啡機和巧克力泡芙免費的糖果都很棒，但是房間的通風不是很好，房間裏的香薰味道讓我這種呼吸道敏感的睡得不太舒服，除此之外，其他都很棒。

We visited for a family funeral. Unfortunately the central heating went off about 6 pm until we left next day and there was no hot water for a bath. The shower, although electric, was also not very hot. Pub has offered a free night if I wish to drive 130 miles each way for that. No further comments from the pub

Absolutely delightful place in a beautiful setting. We had a fun time celebrating an early Xmas with friends. The staff are without exception super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very tastefully decorated (and a small but welcome touch is the endless supply of tea bags and coffee pods) and very spacious and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Oh my goodness, what a find. Absolutely marvellous location for our visit to Highclere Castle (9 miles away) The staff, the location, the room and the food all top class. Our room ““ Great Dane“ was really well appointed, comfortable, extremely quiet with a great view of a sheep field. We had lunch and made it back for Fish Friday. Will definitely be back.

We stayed here because it was very close to Highclere. However, it turned out to be so much more. It is a beautiful inn, next to a pond and surrounded by pretty countryside. The room was so English and the attention to detail in the entire inn was obvious. We had a delicious fish and chips for dinner. We loved walking after dinner and I could've spent another day.

The Jack Russell Inn proved to be the perfect venue for my Granddaughter's Wedding Reception in late Juky. From the glorious location in North Wesses Downs, the very friendly, super efficient staff, to the glorious food the day was magical. The large beautiful garden, including the pond in high summer offered plenty of space to mix and mingle. If you're planning a country wedding reception you could not do better than the Jack Russell Inn.

Had a lovely 3 night stay at this lovely inn, would have had four but was fully booked! Was my belated birthday present, though dad said it was for mummy’s birthday! Very welcoming team with a lovely room decorated in a tasteful contemporary style and large en-suite. View over the village pond just added to the quintessential country location. I was even given my own special doggy beer and biscuit. Team couldn’t do enough to help and were very attentive to my every whim, including a sausage for breakfast. Breakfast lovely, albeit mum and dad didn’t go for the larger breakfast given the meals the night before were so large (and of equally high standard). Though at first glance the prices could be seen of the expensive side, I will certainly say it represented good value for money. I’m already pestering mum and dad to take us back!

A pretentious 'hotel' that was not worth the price, although the location is idyllic. The room, though apparently modern, was very darkly decorated with inadequate lighting. The bed WAS extremely comfortable and the amenities suitable. However, the evening meal food was not good: largely tasteless and over-priced. The breakfast was over-cooked and not delieverd as ordered. The coffee was only lukeward despite a request for hotter.

Lovely, lovely place to stay over. In the middle of nowhere, with beautiful views over the countryside, a deer park, and a duck pond. Plenty of car parking space, beautifully decorated bedrooms, comfiest beds, and the food was unusual and so so tasty. We had spent the day visiting Highclere Castle, and this was just the perfect way for finish off. And it has to be said that the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had - with really tasty bacon and sausages. Thank you!!
